.
you owe it to our founding fathers! No to Obama — the marxist!!
wow
haha fuck off poopdiddy.
She sounds impaired.
She has a very strong NORTHERN Irish accent - there is a slight American twang but if you knew the Northern Irish accent then you would realise it isn't that weird.
Northern Irish is easily the closest accent to the American accent.
Re: poopdiddy2008 – is that a joke….who writes your posts?…..lol
what the hell is her accent, is it an Irish trying to be Texan? whatever it is it sounds freaky
Sounds like a Texan Irish accent aha
OMG!!!!! Nadine is the reason why I love Girls Aloud, when she talks it makes me smile so much, I love when she says tour, it sounds like ter haha its hilarious, she is so cute!!!!! I'm glad you're posting about Girls Aloud there she be more of it, everyone must go buy "The Promise" by Girls Aloud!!!!! Lets bring them to the USA
So Perez, how much is she paying you ????
erm perez shes from IRELAND you uncultured brain dead YANK!
first
She is actually from Northern Ireland which is a country apart from the Republic of Ireland. Sounds like a Belfast girl to me.
I am so glad you posted this. I think the exact same thing…her accent is just amazing in all of it's irish-ness. I look up interview videos with hopes of just hearing her say something amazing
That is not how we talk in Northern Ireland
She's from Derry in Ireland but she now lives in LA because most of her family lives there now, I love her!!!!
It's a weird Irish/American/Southern combo.
Wow, that is a crazy accent.
I think that blonde farted 20 seconds into the video.
Well actually she has a northern irish accent. from derry and thats what the accent is like. so dont really see how crazy people think it is? american living in belfast, it's not a belfast accent.
she's from northern ireland, that's part of the uk-england, wales, n.ireland, and scotland♥♥♥♥♥ hellz yeahhhhh!!!
i agree w/ whomever said that she was from belfast. def not dublin, def. belfast ferrr suurreee
Re: dayumhottie –
ahhhhhh sorryy i mixed everything up lol. i'm having an off day, please don't blame me =]
Re: starstuckandindenial –
LMAO I heard that too!
she's from derry, perez. and we certainly dont talk like that in dublin.
Northern Ireland is not recognised as Irish, but English, by all Irish people. Any Irish person would hit you for calling her Irish. Shove that up your butt and eat it.
Perez, you used to be cool.
Sounds Belfast or somewhere thereabouts to me.
that sounds like an irish accent spoken by someone trying to do a southern accent. too cute.
She is from NORTHERN IRELAND. Its a completely different country to Ireland (the republic.) Seriously, when will you dumb Americans who call yourselves Irish ever cop yourselves on about this. It isnt that hard!!!! The island is called ireland which is made up of 2 countries; Northern Ireland and Ireland (republic of). Yes, the island and one of the countries have the same name but just deal with it. It ain't that hard. And if it is just refer to Ireland, the country as The Republic of Ireland….which is not the name but the description of the state but not too many people actually know that….just read wiki and you'll get it.
I can here American in there too!
I am a big fan of gilrs aloud but always found Nadine fake!
you guys are so annoying. i am irish american. my mother was born and bred and ive been living here for 7 years. northern ireland is ONLY NORTHERN FOR ONE REASON AND WE KNOW WHO TO BLAME. IT'S ONE ISLAND AND SHOULD HAVE STAYED ONE ISLAND, NORTH OR SOUTH. so shove it. we obviously know what you are.
and by the way she IS irish. did you seeing her wearing a poppy? DIDNT THINK SO.
She is probably from Donegal or that area, slightly east of Northern Ireland, and still in the Republic. I have family up there and they all sound exactly like that… so no, not Texas….
E.
She's from Derry, in the North west of Ireland (techically part of Northern Ireland).
Classic Derry accent
I agree, Perez, it's an awesome accent!
OKAY!
I'M GOING TO SET THIS STRAIGHT.
NADINE COYLE IS FROM: LONDONDERRY, NORTHERN IRELAND, UNITED KINGDOM.
LONDONDERRY (DERRY) IS A TOWN, IN A COUNTRY BESIDE THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND CALLED **NORTHERN IRELAND**. NORTHERN IRELAND IS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. IT IS JUST THE SAME AS ENGLAND, SCOTLAND OR WALES. PEOPLE ALWAYS CONFUSE NORTHERN IRELAND WITH IRELAND, AND THINK THAT ITS JUST THE NORTH END OF THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND. IT'S NOT, IT'S A SEPARATE COUNTRY- IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.- AGAIN, JUST LIKE ENGLAND.
THE WAY IN WHICH NADINE SPEAKS IS JUST THE SAME AS ANY PERSON FROM DERRY- OR EVEN A TOWN LIKE THAT IN NORTHERN IRELAND WOULD SPEAK. SHE DOES HAVE THE SLIGHTEST L.A TWANG IN HER ACCENT. BUT OVERALL SHE SOUNDS JUST LIKE SOMEONE FROM DERRY.
HOPE THIS IS CLEAR
NADINE COYLE= FROM N.IRELAND= UNITED KINGDOM= BRITISH/NORTHERN IRISH!! NOT IRISH!
depends on who you are if you want to see it as ireland or northern irish. if you lived here or are from here you'll know what it means.
girls aloud are extremely overrated, they have had 19 top ten hits!!!! i mean seriously there songs suck, whats wrong with britain!
there so jealous of the spice girls, and lets face it none of these girls is remotley attractive or got a personality
the host on that show suck 2! give me good morning america anyday!
She's from NORTHERN Ireland.
It's also a fake Derry accent, cause when Girls Aloud formed she mysteriously lost the accent but got it back to break America…
It's also the Northern Irish accent is just hideous, I know cause I bloody have one! We just sound sarcastic all the time
Destiny's Child are the most sucessful girlband ever and thats a fact
Re: carolinek –
Wind your neck in. The wearing of poppies is how you base her nationality?? They aren't even really on sale here until 1st November. Also if you really knew anything about Northern Ireland you would know that we're entitled to dual nationality, British and Irish.
Re: perezaddict123 – Nadine is an Irish Catholic, and she has an irish passport. So she's not British, she's Irish.
She's not wearing a poppy either, and in interviews she always refers to herself as Irish, as do the other girls.
I love her accent, she's so funny spinning in her chair.
Seriously LOVE her accent.
Btw she is definitely from Derry and she is Irish, I am also from Derry and I am an Irish citizen and hold an Irish passport hence why I would not classified myself as British. Also not everyone in Derry shares her accent and living in Northern Ireland does not make you any less Irish and you still r classified as Irish.
PEREZ WHY DONT YOU JUST CLEAR THIS UP AND GET HER NUMBER RING HER AND ASK HER TO EXPLAIN WHO AND WHERE SHE IS FROM STRAIGHT FROM HER OWN MOUTH.
thank you so much becky!! and for whoever told me to wind my neck in, exactly why you could get dual citizenship… because it really should be ireland.
OH AND I MEAN CALL HER WHEN I SAID RING HER HA HA SORRY.
and people say i talks funny, shit
and go spouting off things like wind your neck in and youre a geg and blah blah. ive lived in belfast for 7 years, i know enough
Okay. How about this? You don't try to talk about stuff you don't understand.
I'm from Derry - the Rosemount area to be exact. Nadine Coyle is from Derry - the Creggan area to be exact.
jlove1127 - the Belfast accent is completely different. Either you've never been there or you are somehow brain dead and don't realise that there is a significant difference.
MoonX - that IS how we talk in Derry.
lolzface - I'm Irish. I've lived in Derry my whole life, my whole family lives there. I have full Irish citizenship, have never held a British passport and never will. I am Irish and if I could I would punch you for saying that!
mack99 - Ireland should be united. It is two countries, but it shouldn't be. I will never say I'm from Northern Ireland or the UK, I am from IRELAND. Wiki won't tell you everything. Wiki will tell you half of something you know nothing about!!! If you knew the struggles you wouldn't say that so shut up about a political, historical and cultural struggle you seem to know nothing about!
perezaddict123 - Nadine Coyle = From DERRY - the Creggan = IRISH Catholic = IRISH!!! I don't know her nor do I claim to but her family still lives in the same area of town and they identify themselves as IRISH!!!! Seriously, you really shouldn't talk about things you have no clue about!!!!
Re: carolinek – Wow 7 years, let me bow to your immense knowledge of the history of Northern Ireland.
Why should it 'all be Ireland' anyway? I have my two passports, give me my 22.7% tax to the UK exchequer over the 40% flat tax to Eire anyday.
OR ELSE YOU CAN ALL GO TO WIKI AND READ FOR YOURSELF SHE IS IN FACT IRISH CONSIDERS HERSELF IRISH AND BECAME FAMOUS IN IRELAND.I REMEMBER HER FROM THE FIRST TIME SHE POPPED UP IN TELEVISION WHEN SHE WAS ONLY 15 AND LIED ABOUT HER AGE TO GET INTO A GROUP.SHE HAS ALWAYS SAID SHES IRISH AND HOLDS AN IRISH PASSPORT.SHE IS A CATHOLIC IRISH GIRL AND I COMMEND HER FOR SHUNNING THE IDEA THAT SHE IS BRITISH.SHE KNOWS WHERES SHES FROM AND I KNOW WHERE SHES FROM SO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT THINK SHES ENGLISH HAVENT A CLUE,SPECIALLY THAT GOBSHITE THAT WAS FIGHTING WITH ME OPVER IT AON HERE ABOUT A WEEK AGO.YEAH THE IDIOT WHO HAD THE BALLS TO SAY I NEED TO EDUCATE MYSELF????WELL LOOK IT UP YOU FUCKING IDIOT AND YOULL FIND THAT YOUR THE FUCKING IDIOT HERE…..OH AND I TOLD YOU SO FOOL.SO DO YOUR HOMEWORK THE NEXT TIME YOU TRY TO ARGUE WITH ME OVER WHERE SHES FROM AND HER NATIONALITY.I THINK I KOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT IM FROM THERE.
Re: amies – jsut read the other posts. dont be anger because youre wrong and sound stupid.
Re: radiantmyth – Thank You. Someone with sense and isn't completly ignorant. FFS im from England and even i know Nadine's and most (i think?) Catholics from Ireland are Irish.
Re: amies – and by the way i think what i said was i knew enough not everything.
From Wikipedia:
Nadine Coyle: "born 15 June 1985 in Derry, Northern Ireland" (which is part of the UK as you all know).
Cheryl Cole: "was born in Newcastle, England."
Sarah Harding: "born 17 November 1981 in Ascot" (England).
Kimberley Walsh: "was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire" (England).
i love girls aloud, if theyre looking for a sixth member im always available…
she doesnt sound at all american, shes 100% northern irish, which btw perez is in the uk whereas the republic of ireland isnt
kimberly = bradford, england
sarah = greater manchester, england
cheryl = newcastle, england
nicola = liverpool, england
nadine = derry, northern ireland
they all just have regional accents (except perhaps sarah)
Re: carolinek – You know nothing, 7 years you said you have been here? So after peace is established you come over tell me what its like? I am not angry because I am wrong, I'm angry cause little spoilt Americans who understand nothing about Ireland are telling me my history.
Go talk to the people on the Shankill Road about the troubles. Or the wives and children of the RUC men killed. Or the survivors of Bloody Friday. And get the romantic little stories of brave IRA terrorists out of your head little girl
Re: carolinek – just what we need, more "irish"-americans pretending to know all about ireland despite the fact they probably cant point it out on a map…
and by the way none of the girls are wearing poppies as far as i can see
Re: &hearts – THANK YOU!
)

Re: amies – oh take it and shove it up your ass. i live on sandy row. you're a fucking idiot. when did i ever mention IRA? did you say spoiled?? umm youre very mistaken. you know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT ME and why im here or any of that. if you knew your history you wouldnt be defending it, you should be ASHAMED. but then again it doesnt surprise me, you are ALL the same. I am catholic and i am damn proud. have you ever been to america? its funny how all your british/english people say bad things about america but where do you take your holidays? who do you guys watch in the cinema??
Re: &hearts – i live in belfast. so really you make no sense.
Re: adore7 – i have my heritage. my mom was born here and she lives here and so do i. so you make no sense either.
Re: carolinek – Here's a hint, keep your trap shut about being a proud Catholic on the Sandy Row.
So what now you're American? Then be proud about it and stop perverting other countries histories.
I may also point out you know fuck all about me either but seem to think you know everything. Calm down.
Re: carolinek –
wtf has who we watch in the cinema got to do with the conflict here typical american bullshit! if you're that annoyed about what the brits did hundreds of years ago why live in a british country? hate the game not the player
Re: &hearts – and i hear loads of people from here dont know where half the states are so dont talk to anyone about pointing stuff out on a map.
Re: carolinek –
to have a hertiage i believe and many others do that you should have been born and bred in a country, who gives a fuk where your ma is from until you live day in day out somewhere dont try and take it on as ur own!
Re: adore7 – because i dont see it as a british country. england is. and i do believe i am not the ONLY catholic talkin here, ask anyone of them and im sure they would say the same.
Re: adore7 – did i try and take it as my own? this is where half of my family is from, aunts uncles grandmas grandpas. it's a big part of my life so i will take it however i want.
Re: amies – youre completely under this impression i have said i know everything. i am a catholic living on sandy row because it's a house that doesnt cost 250 for a double bedroom. so what? because i live on sandy row it means im less catholic. just be quiet.
AMERICANS ONLY WISHED THEY HAD A GIRL GROUP NEARLY AS TALENTED OR AS BEAUTIFUL AS GIRLS ALOUD.
Re: amies – believe me, i'm not stupid does the perez hilton look like the corner of sandy row and im standing there screaming it?

Re: adore7 – Can I marry you?
Re: amies –
lol im just talkin sense, this is way n.ireland is put across the world as part of ireland and when its not you get slightly annoyed! i have no problem with catholics my bf is half but what does annoy me is the fact they just cant let it go, we will never be a united country again,if anything we'll be a country in our own right! but never united
Re: carolinek – No, but seen you're so knowledgeable of Irish political history you must enjoy telling all of Sandy Row that they are wrong.
Go read the other side of history of you want to stomach the truth. Go educate yourself and extract your mind from the tri-colour that isn't even your flag. You have no idea of what it was like to grow up as anything in this country, stop cheapening it.
For the record, I am neither. I hate both sides and have both passports. I have been to America on many occasions, on holiday and working. I can tell you where more states are than you could counties in Ireland. There will never be a united Ireland before they figure out devolution, which won't happen anytime soon as both sides are fuckwits.
And fr films? Try the QFT, some brilliant films there, not too many American ones though.
Re: amies – I LOVE THE IRA AND THEY ARE A GREAT ARMY FAIR PLAY TO THEM FOR NOT LETTING THOSE ENGLISH BASTARDS WALK ALL OVER THEM.FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT GET THE FUCKING ENGLISH OUT.TIOCHAIGH AR LA!!!
Re: adore7 – blah blah blah! goodnight it's been fun pissing you guys off
Re: adore7 – i think you need to go back to school and learn its ENGLAND. calm down. cause you're getting all worked up and cant spell
Re: carolinek –
havent pissed me off love, for that to happen i would need to be wrong and i am clearly not! eyoooo! go back to america trust me not even the catholics want you! because the americans welcomed the irish with open arms during the migration didnt they!
Re: carolinek –

Re: jojo123 –

Re: jojo123 – Unless you grew up in the UK or Ireland your opinion is useless
Re: carolinek – Yet you are the one who is so angry about it all
Re: jojo123 – Also it Tiocfaidh ar la
Re: radiantmyth –
Good post, summed up pretty much what I would have said.
I think the easiest way to see this is most (probably all) Catholics consider themselves Irish (mostly Nationalist) - Most (again, probably all) Protestants consider themselves as part of the UK, however, they are Irish, not British. For Christ sake even Ian Paisley admits that he is "Irish" because he was born on this Island. You can't be British because Britain is made up of Scotland, Wales and England !
I've heard Nadine refer to herself as Irish. She also states that she is from Derry and not Londonderry. Most Catholic Irish don't recognise the name London Derry, they will always refer to what it was before British invasion; Derry.
Northern Ireland (6 counties) and the Rep of Ireland will never be one united Ireland. The time for that to happen was when Ireland became a free state and DeValera signed away Derry, Antrim, Tyrone, Fermanagh, Armagh, and Down. The time to fight was then, not now when these people have integrated themselves into the community and made it a separate country. It's time to move on and grow with the times. Northern Ireland has the Northern Ireland Assembly, born out of the Good Friday agreement in 1998, made up of both Protestants and Catholics who agreed to a power sharing deal.
It's time we accepted this people and moved on.
Education is key and it helps to know what you are talking about before making a post.
Wow, this is getting pretty heated! She regards herself as Irish but alot of these comments are right, she was born and rasied in Derry, Northern Ireland which is part of the United Kingdom. As a Northern Irish citizen, she has the right to associate herself with either Britain or Ireland and the option of an Irish or British passport.
Re: shinny – Well said
I live in the Cliftonville area of Belfast, and her accent sounds nothing like it is from here. She is from Derry for all the people who still think she is from Belfast. Also she is allowed to call herself Irish as she does have an Irish passport and is an Irish citizen. I myself am born in Northern Ireland which of course is part of the United Kingdom, but I am also have citizenship to the Republic so I myself am allowed to, and prefer to (like Nadine) call myself Irish.
interesting because it sounds so much like a southern U.S. accent. I could hear my aunt and grandmother in that. It's pretty clear to me where it came from now. Wow.
Re: adore7 –
Actually Britain is England,Scotland and Wales.
Take a look at your British Passprt, its says 'Great Britain AND Northern Ireland'
NI's only in the UK
Re: ymeman –
That's nice. I'm glad you can find the association. There are so many people across the world from Irish Heritage. Something I'm very proud of.
I'm from Co Wicklow (30 miles south of Dublin) and the accent here often gets mistake for a Northern Ireland accent. However, my accent is not very "Wicklowish" (made up word!!) because I worked in Dublin from when I was 17 and travelled a lot with work. It's an Irish accent, but just my own one, lol!!
I used to travel to the States a lot with work. If I had a cent for every time someone told me how much they loved my accent (and got me to say things, hey am I some sort of a performing monkey??) I'd be a very rich girl !!
I love the Northern Irish Accent. It's so unique and distinctive. Why would you want to sound like everyone else? Bland bland bland. Nadine's is just an eclectic mix of her own Derry accent, mixed with a bit of LA and probably some English thrown in there too.
*Steps down from her pulpit* - I'll stop now…..Sorry !!
It's like she has multiple personality disorder but only when it comes to accents!
Re: amies – yes i did ashole
lmao she has like an irish/texan/sweedish/scottish/british accent
make up your damn mind nadine!
Re: amies – yeah listen to adore 7 with your typo bullshit and up the IRA YIPEE CMON THE IRA HA HA AH AHA AHA AH
LETS KILL OFF ALL THE ENGLISH BASTARDS IN IRELAND YEAH YIPEE…..FUCK THEM UP LIKE THEY DID TO US AND THE REST OF THE WORLD FOR ANOTHER 1000 YEARS YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
