Lab grown diamonds suck, they're too perfect and just nowhere near as lovely as a diamond in my opinion.

there is no such thing as a "fake" diamond. A diamond is made of only carbon atoms bonded together in a tight network. Technically, carbon in diamond form is not carbon's best form. In other words, the carbon atoms slightly shift over long long period of time to become the more stable form known as graphite. Graphite are still made up of all carbon atoms its just has different molecular and physical properties. Graphite has a common name…lol…charcoal. So, a diamond is not forever!!! A lab grown diamond is still a real diamond. The reason mined diamonds are more expensive is due to the diamond industry. They are the ones who control what is out there, and therefore, the price. It is also the diamond industry who came up with the engagement ring.
