ABC is making BIG changes to their lineup!
According to reports, three ABC shows have been canceled - or are almost dead.
Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies, AND Eli Stone will all be ending this season. 99%.
At the moment, the network is not commenting, but multiple sources have confirmed the news.
However, Daisies creator Bryan Fuller says, "It's all true. I'm so very proud of this show and grateful for everyone's hard work in bringing it to life. We would love to continue telling this season's arcs in a comic book format, just to tie up all the loose strings — and believe me, there are plenty. That way we can tell a stand alone movie story that doesn't have all the baggage from the second season stories — and those bags are packed!"
Some changes will also be made mid-season to the current schedule.
For example, their spin-off show Private Practice will be moved to 10pm on Thursdays following Grey's Anatomy beginning mid-December. An obvious attempt to up the ratings.
And starting January, Scrubs will join the network's Tuesday lineup and Life on Mars will be moved to Wednesdays.
Thankfully they didn't get rid of Ugly Better and Desperate Housewives. Or should they have?
They should, the shows are dumb. Pushing Daisies was interesting for the first like 2 shows…it's old news now and doesn't compete with the good stuff that's out there.

I've read that Ugly Betty might be in danger. The network has not yet renewed the show for season 4.
I hope they do it soon because Ugly Betty is such a great show. It's one of the best comedies I've seen on TV.

Don't they dare touch Desperate Houswives or Ugly Betty! Those are the only shows i watch on ABC, have been leaving the TV on Automatic just to help their ratings. I watch all my TV online now….almost better than Tivo.

Pushing Daisies appeals to people with imagination and romantic notion to suspend belief. It doesn't appeal to people who would rather watch a dead body get cut open on CSI for the 8 millionth time or people who prefer watching lame C-List celebrities dance on tv.
ABC screwed this show and DSM by not resuming production during the writer's strike, if they had followed the lead of so many shows(Gossip Girl, OTH, HIMYM, Lost etc etc) and pushed a few more out they wouldn't have lost viewers. However I wasn't one of them. We watched every episode that showed and loved every minute of them.
The cast is eclectic and moving, the set design and way of telling the stories within the episodes are just incredible. It's such a shame that nowadays having a creative mind in television is a BAD thing.
As for DSM, the show was a modern Dynasty except a little dirtier. THe cast was just incredible. There were times episodes would begin, and based on their opening alone a smile would creep across my face because I knew it would be good.
Too bad, ABC is fucked. They have putrid Grey's(only good first two seasons)and that horrible horrible Private Practice, and the joke that is Desperate Housewives left. Ugly Betty has gotten better as the season has gone on, and I guess yeah, I'm interested in Lost again. But for the most part I'm done with network tv aside from two other shows.

I'm not going to watch any new shows, they just cut them without any thought to the viewer. They never wrap up storylines, these Network heads are jackasses as far as I'm concerned.

Pushing Daisies is one of the most entertaining and gorgeous shows on tv…why do we lose the good ones, yet Wife Swap is still on tv. I'm still upset about Arrested Development and that was years ago that it got booted.

I tried watching Pushing Daisies here and there. So clever and colorful. But it was like watching a Tim Burton flick every week. Best taken in smaller doses. They tried so hard though. And I did not watch Eli Stone but, again, from the tv promos, it seemed so clever. Guess America isn't ready for those shows which are a cut above the rest.
No they did the right thing. I've never watched any of those shows that will be cancelled, so I could care less. Ugly Betty, DH, GA, & PP can stay as far as I'm concerned. They better not go anywhere anytime soon! They are the ONLY shows I watch these days. Everything else is reality, reality, reality… though, Survivor and BB are great… they've declined, not as good as they used to be, that's for sure. Perfect choices ABC

i'm very upset about pushing daisies. This sucks! i loved that show. it had a unique story line and i have grown attached to the characters. i'm glad that at least they're not going to leave us hanging. i really do hope a movie is made.

The only two shows I watch on ABC, "Eli Stone" and "Dirty Sexy Money", and the network cancels them. It kills me. Actually, I watch one other show on ABC, "Dancing with the Stars"! I'll miss seeing that sexy Blair Underwood on "Dirty Sexy Money".

Housewives and Betty are both great shows. And both continue to give great shows. You don't have any shows like betty that provides a good message to people. and housewives if just plain great!
i've loved pushing daisies and watched it religiously since it premiered last fall..it is the most original show that's on t.v at the moment and viewers and critics agree that it is a fantastic show..and it is being cancelled,while a show as stupid as life on mars is continuing it's run, why?..it is for this reason that i have lost all faith in what we considered american entertainment..pushing daisies was the only tv show i watched…ever..thanks abc…thanks alot..

I would MUCH rather watch Dirty, Sexy Money and Eli Stone than Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty - I never could get into those shows. But I LOVE DSM!!! I am so far already hooked for them to just end it!!

I LOVE PUSHING DAISES & ELI STONE and DSM is nice fluff. Really sad, begining to HATE TV exec, Fox is also monkeying with there TV line and movie shows all over the place. I realize 99 % of LA has TIVO or DVR but what about the rest of the country. People without will have a hard time find the shows they want to watch. Really wish ratings tracted DVR shows my guess is that the viewership would be greatly increased with that factored in. Hell, I don't even know when my shows are on but my DVR does which is all that matters. TV exec need to keep up with technology and start looking at what we are really watching
