Who pissed in his Holy Water?
On Monday Pope Benedict equated protecting the rain forest from man to protecting man from gays.
Oh, yes he did!
In an address to the Curia, the Pope said, "(The Church) should also protect man from the destruction of himself. A sort of ecology of man is needed. The tropical forests do deserve our protection. But man, as a creature, does not deserve any less" describing anything outside of a traditional hetero relationship as "a destruction of God's work."
Inhaling too much incense? Dumb? Or just plain evil?
Sounds like something that, you know, the other guy in the Bible might have said.

I am a Catholic, and this Pope makes it very difficult to continue being a Catholic. Let's not forget he is a Nazi and in my eyes always will be one. He is the worse thing to happen to the Catholic Church. If he wants to continually talk about non-secular things then the church should start to pay taxes on the millions of dollars it has.
The reality is this: Religion is the biggest scam ever played upon the people of this planet. We are all children of God/Spirit/Universe…whatever you want to call it. What the Pope says means nothing to me. He is no closer to talking to God than we are. What he says doesn't mean a damn thing. Think for yourselves. All people deserve to be treated with equality and compassion.

As someone who was raised Catholic and attended a Catholic School for 8 years, this doesn't come as a suprise at all. THE POPE IS EVIL and so are his sexist & homophobic followers. Well, Perez, I'm very sorry to have to say this, but I believe that this will be my last visit to your website. I am very tolerant of homosexuality and those who practice that lifestyle, but I cannot tolerate those who bash the Holy Father, who is Jesus' regent here on this planet. All of the major religions are based on procreation i.e. having babies. Since homosexuals cannot produce their own offspring, its not considered good for mankind. Surely fags have helped the evolution of mankind of multiple levels. Their contribution is amazing - from art to politics etc, I mean for fuck sakes, homosexuals are human after all. But biologically speaking homosexuality could be natures way of saying "your genetic line ends here". Since homosexuals cannot have offspring on their own, in a sense they are keeping our population under control (war helps too). This is the kind of thing that freaks Religion out - if beautiful men don't like women, they won't make babies. No babies - no one to pass down the Religion to.
