George Mason University Elects Male Homecoming Queen!

The students of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, have spoked, and they say they want Reann Ballslee crowned their homecoming drag queen!
Reanne is student Ryan Allen‘s fabulous alter ego, who performs at nightclubs around town. Ryan says he entered the homecoming queen competition as a joke, but, to his surprise, beat out two other female contestants.
The victory has left him elated and he takes it as proof of his school’s diversity and acceptance.
Allen said, “When they said ‘Ms. Mason 2009 is Reann Ballslee,’ the crowd went wild. It was one of the best feelings I’ve felt in a long time. I had so many friends supporting me.”
