On Tuesday, Robert Pattinson was spotted looking quite pale and vampire-esque running errands in Hollywood.
Regardless, he's still smoking hot.
We wonder if his Twilight contract forbids him from sun tanning?

i remember in an interview that nikki reed did (shes in 'twilight,' too). i think i remember her saying that it was in the contract not to tan. shes from hawaii so she tans easily and she said it was really hard to stay as pale as she did.

it does to an extent… Jennie garths husband who is carisle said that they stay out of the sun to prevent having to wear more make up for the movie. i'm sure he's covering up in the sun as much as possible…

I actually DID read somewhere that the actors playing the vampire characters DID try to stay out of the sun as much as possible during filming (I think it was an interview with Peter Facinelli). Yeah, Im a dork…haha!!

Actually no, his contract does NOT forbid it. Summit just asks the actors NOT to sunbathe. It does not say in the contract that they're not allowed to. Plus, the guy is from London, he's not gonna freakin' tan like LA natives.

obviously his contract says he can't tan! he's supposed to be a vampire! David Boreanaz & James Marsters on Buffy had the same stipulation in their contracts. After all when do you see vampires with tans on tv or in the movies? they are supposed to be dead!
