Smashing Pumpkins Drummer Leaves Billy Behind

Drummer Jimmy Chamberlin has left the Smashing Pumpkins!
Again!
Granted, the first time around in 1996 was a little different, you know, on account of the drug addiction and the touring keyboardist’s overdose.
Anyway!
Frontman Billy Corgan announced on his website that he has plans to “continue to write and record as Smashing Pumpkins,” even though the megalomaniac is the only original member left in the group!
Corgan has plans to start recording a new Pumpkins album with the with the fresh line-up in the spring.
