She's Doing A Sitcom?

Who thought that giving Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi a sitcom is a good idea? We refer you to her bit part in the tragically horrendous flick Glitter to deter you at once!
Variety is reporting that the pretty face has penned a deal with the Peacock for a half-hour comedy sitcom about ” a woman working in the culinary world.” At the moment, Padma and executive producer Charlie Corwin are still kicking around ideas.
If they want to waste their money, be our guest. But someone should turn on Top Chef every once in awhile and take a good, hard look at this girl’s personality. When they realize she doesn’t have any, then they’ll cancel this thing ASAP.
