Poor little Maddox can't have a normal life!
The tiny tot recently began school at the Lycee Francais in NYC and it seems like some of the parents have gotten out of control.
The Lycee’s director of operations, Dan Cooke, sent out a letter to the parents of all the students, admonishing them for their Brangelina fever.
It read:
“I’m sure you are aware the school has received much media attention recently during the arrival and dismissal times because of the presence of celebrities Ms. Angelina Jolie and/or Mr. Brad Pitt,” read the document, according to a source who shared it with the Transom over the phone. “I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with their security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families.
Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition,” the source quoted with some glee. “Therefore, in the best interests of the school and safety of your child(ren) I must ask for everyone to please respect the family’s privacy and discontinue these practices."
We can't say we blame them, though. Parents are only human.
And everybody wants a little piece of Brange!

I've also seen him around the city alone hanging out. he's very low key.

okay, let me see — they don't want the other parents talking to them? can you say 'no playdates?' I mean they want to have their kid in this school then they should be a little nicer to the other parents whose kids go there. What about having a day where they all get to meet them and have pics, etc. Charge $10 a pop and donate it to charity. They'll get it out of their system and make charity money along the way. Oh! The HORROR! Tell me that some uncouth did not have the temerity to shout at his/or highness for recognition. Honestly, these two just give me stabbing pain. I'd like them not to forget that if it were not for the affection this unruly public has for them, those kids little asses would still be starving in their respective corners of the globe, as, for that matter, His Imperial Bradness could be working at Walmart back in Shawnee, Oklahoma. If that sounds especially nasty or mean spirited, it shows my fatique of hearing these two whine.
That is really sad for celeb kids. There entire life will be distorted and their sense of reality will be so far off that by the time they are adults and their parents are not in the limelight so much anymore, they will have strange adjustments. Whether or not they like it, having your picture taken all the time and having people follow you and 'want' you must make them feel important in some manner. They must feel 'special' for no reason and I sincerely hope it doesn't mess up their sense of self and keep them from developing self esteem in the right way.
It's understandable that parents would be starstruck as well. I really for sorry for Maddox though. Actually, all celebrity kids that have to deal with paparrazi. Its gotta be scary for them.

I work near that neighborhood and know it very well. It is really quiet over there, right next to the East River. So these not much going on there. So you can imagine all the excitment every day. But Angie wants the attention because she could go through the service entrance every morning to avoid the paps.
Angie wants the publicity! And as long as those children are treated like accessories, they won't have a normal life.
I can completely understand them wanting a quiet and private life…and if that is what they want then they need to get out of show business. You can't have it both ways Brad and Angelina!!!

It's suspicious that photogs always manage to find where Brangelina's kids go to school isn't it? Regardless of the city? Why is that? Since the paparazzi don't seem to have the same luck tracking down the progeny of other stars, I have to wonder if just maybe someone in Brangelina's camp is tipping them off. my personal opinion…the director of ops. should ask ang/brad to enrole mad at another school. there is a possibility of worse happening then pix being taken by curious parents/bystanders. an obsessed fan, etc. could do or attempt to do something harmful that could end up effecting the other children. these parents are paying good money and should know that their children are safe. i'd want maddox as far away as possible from my child's school. i think the director should see that the potential cons outweigh any pros gained by having him as a student there.

I live on the corner of 76th St. and York, a few yards from the school and nobody cares. There's never a crowd of people, maybe the occasional photographer. However, two days ago saw Hoody Allen and his Asian baby wife going towards the school to and he looks like 90 years old. Maybe they have kids there too.

This is where I say Brangelina is wrong. In order to give their kids a 'normal life' they are picking up the little boy? WRONG! Seriously, Writergal and Deborah Sims, are you that f'g stupid? Where is it written, you morons, that they want no one to talk to them?! There's a HUGE difference between being politely addressed, chatted to, or casually engaged in conversation AND being YELLED AT and having your photo snapped by every loser with a mobile phone. Its disgraceful some of the other parents (or nannies?) are behaving in this manner, and thankfully, it is probably a small minority. It doesn't mean that Brad or Angelina asked the school to write a letter; the school should do that on their own accord if one of their families is being harassed by other parents / school members. Having experienced first hand celebrities in my classroom in LA, I can tell you, most parents wth money enough to send their kids to the same chi-chi school are respectful and could careless about the Hollywood crowd. In fact, they pay little to NO attention to them, because they prefer the more educated sect and don't buy in to the media hype. Posh and Becks, the Spielberg kids, Arnold's kids, Reese and Ryan's kids, Sting's kids, half of the music industries' kids … you name it, they probably go to school in LA at one of three places, and NO ONE CARES - they are just like any other kid. I'm sure in their opinion they think this is making him more flexible to ever-changing situations, but it's really the worst thing that you can do for a kid.
