Conan's Raitings Still Not Doing Well

Wait, what's going on here?
CBS' Late Show With David Letterman has bested The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien for the second consecutive week!
According to the Nielson ratings, The Late Show "delivered a 2.4/06 in households with an average of 3.45m viewers, up +14% in households (from 2.1/05) and +17% in viewers (from 2.95m) compared to the same week last year" and "as up +10%=2 0in adults 25-54 (1.1/04 from 1.0/04), +14% in adults 18-49 (0.8/03 from 0.7/03) and even in adults 18-34 (0.5/02) compared to the same week last year."
In other words, Dave is the new King of Late Night!
Conan better watch out!

Conan deserves it … threatening to leave NBC a few years back and "forcing" NBC to give him a contract that ousted Leno … hey … it all comes back to you Conan! Leno IS and ALWAYS WILL BE the great host, can't wait til 10 PM in the FAll! My guess is after Leno everyone will still switch to Letterman.

I haven't seen Conan on his new gig. Does he still have Triumph, the insult comic dog? Now Triumph was the star, so they either need more of the dog, or get the dog on there!
I tried to watch his show last night…he's not good. So not funny….dave is way better.

"New" King of Late Night? Dave has ALWAYS been the King. Just because more old folks with no sense of humor who watched Leno had those Nielson boxes in their homes doesn't mean shit. No one is better than Dave. NO ONE.

Why is there so much pressure to always be the best in this country? Letterman is great and all, but Conan is HILARIOUS. Everybody knows that. If there are millions upon millions of people tuning into your show, I don't think it's a failure. It must be a creepy hollywood thing, people obsessing over numbers. why doesn't everyone fucking relax!

Leno should have known better. He practically picked Conan himself. Anyone with half a brain could see that was a bad idea.
Conan still rules. He's just getting his bearings with the new time slot. Leno was PAINFULLY UNFUNNY. He stayed well pass his welcome. There's not one comic that thinks Leno has talent. They just kiss ass because of his connections.
To the person that said that Jay Leno got hire ratings in the geriatric market is incorrect. Letterman actually had older viewers than Jay overall. Jay was the ratings king of the 18-45 demographic which is the market that most companies are marketing to. I love all three but overall Jay Leno has mass appeal because he gives you that working man feel. Letterman can be a stuffed shirt sometimes, and Conan can be a little too goofy for some. But again I like all three but Jay will dominate 10PM and you will see ratings dips for both Conan and Letterman. People will get their 10PM fill and go to bed early.

So much so, people would rather watch Letterman.
I tired to watch Conan's show and it is much funnier now he is on at this new time. He has always had trouble with his monologues but his interviews were always much better than the others cause he is a master at improv- his interviews are funny! Dave has been asleep at the switch ever since the move to CBS. He is not funny and he is as mean as ever. I don't know why people watch him. Conan will pick up ratings when the summer is over and people start watching tv again.
CONAN…not funny, only awkward. The reason SNL sucks soooo bad these past years is they hire 'boys' with frat humor that is just not smart or witty at all, like Conan.
Dave is naturally and intellectually funny, like Craig Ferguson and John Stewart. You either have it or you don't.
Re: Swear to ME! – uh..conan went to harvard and graduated magnum cum laude. and he definitely does not have "frat boy" humor. he speaks mostly to 20-30 year olds. jay leno and letterman are old. i've never watched them.
Dave is an always will be! Dave is WAY BETTER THAN JAY! Conan is funny, but if they make us pick—DAVE IT IS.

Yeah….I keep meaning to watch his show but I always forget
I barely watch any TV any more. I just got so tired of the annoying commercials and crap flashing across the bottom of the screen every five minutes. Rather than be aggravated, I just watch DVDs or download stuff from NetFlix. Who needs TV when there's the internet?
Conan is for smart people not for the idiots who thought Leno was good with his old and tiring jokes.
