Don't Worry! Georgina Sparks Will Be Back!

Were you sad to see Georgina Sparks leave the Upper East Side after only a few episodes on Gossip Girl?
Fear not, because the door is always open for her to return and Michelle Trachtenberg is keen to oblige.
Though taking a break from the show to shoot her own new gig on NBC, Mercy, Michelle insists that audiences have not seen the last of the GG’s resident villain:

“Georgina, she’s taken a little trip away. She’s gone off with a Russian prince, or so she thinks. So, there are so many more great things that Georgina can do. She pretty much just always comes in, destroys their lives for a few episodes, and then is like, ‘OK, I’m good now. I think I’ll go get a massage in the Caribbean.’ “

Though she admits that she and Leighton Meester are pretty close friends, don’t expect the same to ever happen between Georgina and Blair Waldorf. Michelle says that her character has a “grudge” and is hell bent to keep in that way!
So what does Michelle think of her bad girl persona:

“She is absolutely amazing. She is the best character I have ever played. She is so much,” she gushed. “She is incredibly evil, manipulative and pretty much just takes no prisoners, and she doesn’t care about the consequences. She is fantastic.”

Maybe when she gets back, she’ll bring in some real trouble to help Gossip Girl spike the ratings!
