Not only is Dana excited about the twist, but she is also hoping it sticks! She says
“I guessed it. I asked, ‘Am I becoming a man?’ And [creator] Marc Cherry said, ‘Close.’ For a woman in her fifties to make this announcement to her community is huge. I hope it sticks.”
It just might as we also hear from Julie Benz that she is so eager to stay on the show in this storyline that she is “bribing the writers with cupcakes.├óΓé¼┬¥
