For reasons unknown, Kate Beckinsale attended the Star Trek Into Darkness premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday night.

Wearing a black Alberta Ferretti strapless dress with cutaway hem, the actress looked rather simple.

If it wasn't for her toned bod and perfectly symmetrical face, we might not have recognized her.

This is definitely a case of the star outshining the dress, although her strappy neon Jimmy Choos brought some excitement to the ensem.

Overall, not horrible, but nothing to write home about either.

The 39 year old strut her stuff at the Met Gala tonight in a red hot asymmetrical Alberta Ferretti dress that showed off a healthy amount of leg.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels, black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a faboosh messy pompadour completed her look

Again, this isn't what we would consider punk, but there's no denying that Kate looks great.

Julianne Hough was on Extra on Thursday to show off her Sole Society shoe line, but did she actually wear them?

NOPE!

Instead, the Safe Haven actress wore nude Yves Saint Laurent pumps with an orange mock turtle neck long sleeve Alberta Ferretti dress.

After looking so fabulous at the premiere earlier this week, this is a complete disappointment.

Looking like a glamorous underwater sea princess, Ryan Seacrest's main squeeze glided down the red carpet in a light gray Alberta Ferretti sleeveless gown with a lace and beaded bodice.

Seriously, this look would make Ariel jealous!

A stylized bouffant, jeweled Judith Leiber clutch and Martin Katz jewelry finished off Julianne's under the sea ensemble.

You can be part of our world any day Julianne, so long as you always dress like this!

Wearing an Alberta Ferretti dress, the Lincoln actress glowed amidst the chiffon, lace and leaf embroidery.

But what was she thinking with those black shoes!? UGH!

Fingers crossed she'll wear a long gown to the Oscars! We'd hate to see this happen on the biggest night in Hollywood!
