However, things just didn't work out, and now is

We can only imagine the struggle Kim Kardashian West continues to go through in the aftermath of that armed robbery in Paris — the only silver lining here is how close the Kardashian family is, and how they are no doubt rallying around her in a time of need.
Last night at the TransNation Festival's 15th annual Queen USA Transgender Beauty Pageant in El Lay, then, it was revealed that Caitlyn Jenner is making Kim's health and safety her priority right now, too!
In what's easily the least shocking news you'll read today… I Am Cait has officially been cancelled after two under-performing seasons on E!.
The docuseries famously followed Caitlyn Jenner's initial transition and subsequent adaptation to life as a transgender woman, but the show never found the right balance between educational and entertaining.
A spokesperson for the network issued a statement about the sudden — yet not surprising — cancellation on Tuesday, saying:
Such a fitting tribute…
On Saturday June 25, VH1 and Logo will air its third annual Trailblazer Honors, the largest televised LGBT Pride event.
In the program, Vice President Joe Biden addresses the crowd with a message honoring the Orlando shooting victims, and to also denounce North Carolina's anti-transgender laws.
"Hi everyone. This is Joe Biden and I wish I could be there with you in person to honor some truly inspiring trailblazers. Each of you gives meaning to Harvey Milk's words, 'Hope never remains silent.' And we need you. We need all of you. Because as we celebrate a year of equality in marriage, draconian state laws deny transgender Americans basic civil rights. And in nearly 70 countries, it's a crime. It's a crime to be who you are. And because the freedom to live freely means being free from bullying, free from harassment, and free from violence. You know, our hearts are still heavy for Orlando, but you're showing tonight that we are Orlando. We're all Americans. Unbowed. Unrelenting. We endure. We overcome. We're hopeful and we will not be silent."'
The event will also spotlight LGBT pioneers Billie Jean King, Harvey Fierstein, Marsha P. Johnson, and Sylvia Rivera. Stage presenters include Emma Stone, Macklemore, Lance Bass, Chloe Grace Moretz, Janet Mock, Wilson Cruz and Candis Cayne.
It airs at 8pm ET/PT.

Best friends doing best friend things.
I Am Cait is far from guilty pleasure television, but we're happy to say the KUWTK spinoff ended on a high note!
For one thing, the 66-year-old acknowledged that Ted Cruz would be terrible for trans individuals, and she even confronted a priest in Houston who made "highly offensive" transphobic comments during his sermon.
They sure had a lot of pent-up sexual energy to unleash!

Do we hear wedding bells?!
Now, we're not sure if she pictures herself with a man or a woman just yet, but regardless we know she's going to look beautiful at the alter judging by the lace wedding gown she tries on.
Although we have to say Candis Cayne might be giving her a run for her money!

Kris and Caitlyn sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!
But in the new mid-season promo for I Am Cait, the two reality stars are finally ready to kiss and make up — literally!
But Cait's ex isn't the only one she's smooching in the teaser… we also get a taste of the 66-year-old kissing her BFF Candis Cayne!

We knew they met, and we even had a pic of the two women together…
In a teaser for I Am Cait (above), Miz Jenner and her girl crew, including Candis Cayne, run across Hillary when the presidential candidate is about to head off to a debate.
The women stop and chat for a moment before taking pictures together and leaving on good terms… and it's surprisingly not that awkward!!
Of course, that's VERY different from Cait's recent political past!!
She's suggested both that she'd prefer Donald Trump over Hillary as President (gross!), and that she hoped to become Ted Cruz's trans ambassador (good luck with that!).
Whatever her personal politics — and however messed up they may be — Cait seems very cordial with Clinton on this day.
We'll just have to see what happens between now and that November election…
…and for the next I Am Cait, which airs on E! on Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET!
