Eliza Dushku was recently in Uganda, doing her part.
Not only did she purchase land and resources she needed to build a healing and rehab center for former child soldiers and war victims, but she brought them the majesty of planking as well!
It really is wonderful to see her go out of her way to help like that — plus, we'd give just about anything to know what's going on in those guys' minds when she planks.
LOLz!
Welcome home, Eliza!
It's a frenzy!!
Yup, this is totally becoming a trend!
The Marines aren't the only military guys and gals to ask out their favorite celebs. This time around it's Air Force Sgt. Felisberto and his target is none other than the lovely Eliza Dushku.
Currently serving in Kabul, Afghanistan, Felisberto is absolutely adorable when he asks Eliza to a Red Sox game. And since Eliza is proud to be from Beantown, we're sure she's going to say yes!
Of course, she does have a handsome boyfriend, but we're sure Rick Fox won't mind. This is for America, after all!
P.S. We're still waiting for our invite!!!

And it's going to be animated!
That's right, Eliza Dushku is going to be starring in an online, animated, Torchwood series penned by Jane Espenson — who has written for Buffy. And Dollhouse. And Battlestar Galactica.
Sounds AWESOME:
Titled Torchwood: Web of Lies, Dushku will be front and center in the short-form story, which will also have voice appearances by Torchwood stars John Barrowman as Capt. Jack Harkness and Eve Myles as Gwen Cooper.
The series, developed by BBC Worldwide Productions, will consist of 10 three-minute videos, a bit like Starz previous online graphic novel animated series for Spartacus. It’s expected to launch before Torchwood premieres July 8, and new installments will go online after each new Miracle Day episode.
So all you Torchwood fans out there, you better get pumped! Eliza is coming your way!
Have fun, Eliza!

Back in December, we were excited to hear that our beloved Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Eliza Dushku had landed the female lead on the new TNT drama Bird Dog.
Now, instead of Bird Dog, it looks like she'll be starring in "CBS' untitled sports radio-themed comedy pilot," based on ESPN's The Herd.
The show revolves around a witty/cocky/likable radio host played by Damon Wayans, and his on-air sidekick, Casey (Dushku).
Congratulations, Eliza! Good Great to have U back!

Nice! We LOVE her!
Eliza Dushku, who will be known forever in our minds as Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has landed the female lead on the new TNT drama Bird Dog!
The show will center around Dushku's character, who is a police officer in a Pacific Northwestern town whose life is turned upside down when her estranged father, a former NYC cop, shows up and wants to become her new partner.
Inneresting! It depends how they handle the material, but we think that this might have a lot of potential if done correctly!
We love us some Faith and we love us a good cop drama!
What do U think?? Will U be tuning in??

It's about time!
Now that he's been eliminated from Dancing With the Stars, Rick Fox has had time to think about marriage with girlfriend Eliza Dushku.
He recently talked about their relationship and where their future is heading, saying, "You don't go 20 months…without talking about marriage. I've been married before, so we definitely talk about the truth of what marriage is about."
And even though his past marriage with Vanessa Williams only lasted five years, Rick says, "I'm not gunshy about marriage, even though I failed. I failed at it the first time, so my next opportunity will be one where I'll be honestly more experienced and intelligent about it."
Looks like he's been doing some growing up in the past few years!
We think Rick and Eliza and are a beautiful couple and we would love to see them walk down the aisle! What do U think?

When Sarah Michelle Gellar hung up her stake seven years ago, there were a whirlwind of rumors about how the franchise might live on with out its blondie beauty.
The most intriguing of the rumors was that Eliza Dushku would reprise her role as the twisted sister slayer Faith in her own spin-off series. That never came to be and a lot of fans were pretty disappointed.
Now, Eliza explains why the show never happened in a new interview, blaming timing and her gut for the demise of the show. She reveals:
“After I finished the show, I’d withdrawn from school and followed up with a couple of films like "Bring It On", but I’d had such an awesome experience working with Joss I was ready to go down that road again. So I met with Joss and Tim Minear and spoke about the potential for a Faith spin-off. But Buffy had just gone on seven years and Joss was really straightforward: he couldn’t play the kind of day-to-day role he had on Buffy – he had his family. I love Tim Minear, I trust him wholeheartedly and it wasn’t that I felt without Joss it wasn’t right, but it was a contributing factor. On top of it, I had just played this character for almost five years, it felt like time to explore a different role. So I ended up making a decision that, though looking back I don’t regret, in hindsight maybe the talks could have continued a bit longer. It’s a question I’ve been asked a gazillion times: ‘Why’d you do Tru Calling and not the Faith spin-off?’ Thing is, even Joss was part of helping me make that decision. He said: ‘I think you have to follow your gut, which is trying something different, and we’ll stay friends so this isn’t goodbye, this is until next time.’”
Yeah, next time didn't work as well as you thought it might have. Should have stuck with doing a Faith spin-off. People would have really liked that.
Course, if someone could kick some sense into the Buffster and get a movie underway, we'd consider that an apology!
