L.A. Galaxy forward Landon Donovan doesn't just think HIS team is ready for openly gay players, but all of Major League Soccer!

He even pointed to Robbie Rogers, who came out of the closet in February just before stepping away from professional sports. It's a shame

Rupert Everett's wild days are gone, and with them have passed his attraction to sex! Such a bummer! At 53 that's WAY too young not to get revved up by some sexy times!

The gay Shrek star blames it on his indulgent youth — partying, doing drugs, going to raves. Now, all that stuff bores him, annoys him, and SEX is definitely on that list!

Here's what he said:

Jason and his identical twin brother Jarron Collins had us seeing double when they made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about the big guy's life since becoming the first openly gay player in a major U.S. men's sport!

But before the NBA center came out to the rest of the world, he says had to let his brother in on the news first. Although Jarron was a bit caught off guard at first, he says he has nothing but love for Jason:

"Oh come on, he's my twin brother. Of course I'm gonna be supportive of him all the time. That's just the way it is."

Awww! Nothing like a little brotherly love to warm our hearts!

The big news has of course had a HUGE impact on Jason's life, but it's also affected Jarron as well. Mainly because he gets confused for his brother ALL the time!

We're just guessing here, but it might have something to do with the fact that they look EXACTLY the same! LOLz!

So to help avoid any confusion down the road, Jimmy brought a little gift for Jarron to make sure people know who's who!

Just when it looks like the world of sports is taking a step forward in accepting homosexuality, it takes two GIANT steps back!

Jay Briscoe is a pro wrestler for the Ring of Honor, and his profile describes his am "controversial" and "outspoken," and based on some homophobic tweets he sent out we'd have to say they nailed it.

When Delaware recently passed a bill for marriage equality, the wrestler took to Twitter to share his thoughts, saying:

"The Delaware Senate passed a bill yesterday that allows same sex couples to get married. If that makes you happy, then congratulations!!!!!"

Nothing wrong here, right? Except he decided to follow-up that tweet with this:

This. Is. AWESOME!!!

The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network will be giving Jason Collins the Courage Award at the end of this month at the GLSEN Respect Awards for being the first openly gay, active athlete in the NBA, MLB, NFL, or NHL!

Executive Director Dr. Eliza Byard says they are THRILLED to be honoring Jason, saying:

This is just absolutely disgusting!

New York police are on the lookout for 8 Knicks fans who beat a gay couple while shouting homophobic slurs outside of Madison Square Garden Sunday afternoon!

Brooklyn natives Nick Porto and his boyfriend Kevin Atkins were walking hand-in-hand when they were assaulted by the group of men, leaving them with a broken nose and broken wrist.

Nick claims he was caught off guard by the hate crime, saying:

"I've never had a feeling like this before in the city. I didn't know that it's not over, that this sort of stuff still happens."

Police first said that finding the assailants would be difficult, but now they have gotten their hands on video footage (above) of the men in question and are asking anyone with information on the incident to call them IMMEDIATELY!

We are so upset to hear that people are capable of such disgusting acts and that hate crimes like this are STILL happening! Hopefully police are able to find the men who did this and bring them to justice.

What better way to get on Jimmy Kimmel Live than to make all kinds of professional sports history?? LOLz!

Jason Collins is going to be sitting down with his twin brother Jarron, and Jimmy on May 15th. They'll probably talk about favorite movies, basketball, being twins. You know, normal stuff.

Oh, and probably the fact that Jason is the first out and proud NBA player!

Kimmel is Jason's first late-night show. How did he land him? Ohhhh we don't know, maybe because ABC and ESPN have a lucrative NBA deal — with Jimmy doing primetime specials during the NBA Finals and all! Ha!

We can't wait to see what Jimmy has in store for you guys on May 15th! Have fun!
