What The H?! Jon Hamm Reveals His Name Was Misspelled On His Golden Globe Award!

This year, Jon Hamm took home his second Golden Globes award for playing Don Draper on AMC's Mad Men!

But technically speaking, Jon Hamm only has the most recent trophy under his name — and John Hamm has the other!

Speaking to Vanity Fair at the Sundance Film Festival, the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt actor revealed that when he won his Golden Globe back in 2008, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association misspelled his name on the trophy!

Video: The Martian Gets A Laugh Track To Make It 'Best Comedy' Material!

Due to the writers strike that year, the traditional Globes ceremony didn't happen — instead, the winners were announced at a news conference that day!

And Hamm remembered getting his award in the mail later on, only to discover it was for "John Hamm" — he recalled:

"I was like, ‘Oh man. Uh, guys, there's no ‘H'."

Awww! We'd feel bad for him if he wasn't a two time award winner! LOLz!

We're sure the association won't make the same mistake when they mail Hammm the plaque this year! Oh shoot…

The Martian Gets A Laugh Track To Make It 'Best Comedy' Material — See What Other Films The Golden Globes Shouldn't Have Considered Comedies!

| Filed under: Matt DamonFilm FlickersYouTubeGolden GlobesOscarsFunny

With 6 Oscars nominations, it's no doubt that The Martian was a great film.

But when Ridley Scott's space epic won the Golden Globe for Best Comedy or Musical, audiences were a bit confused with its comedic categorization!

The Matt Damon-led pic definitely had a good chunk of jokes, but even the director himself made fun of its misplaced genre!

To prove that The Martian REALLY didn't win for its humor, one YouTube user strung together some intense clips of the clip with an old school laugh track — and it's (ironically?) hilarious!

But this film isn't the only not-so-funny "comedy" the Globes put into the category! Find out which other acclaimed films were miscategorized (below)!

One week after winning big at the Golden Globes, Rachel Bloom won for Best Actress in a Comedy Series at the Critics' Choice Awards. LOVES it!

The musical comedienne was as excited as we were for her big win as she RAN to the stage to accept the prize for her role in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. LOLz!

We're not too shocked by Rachel's win since the CW comedy has been a critical darling since it premiered. How exciting!

It was a tight race for the award for Best Supporting Actress at Sunday's the Critics' Choice Awards. In an exciting turn of events, Alicia Vikander beat out award show vet Kate Winslet and snagged the coveted trophy.

We couldn't be more excited for Miz Vikander since she was an absolute scene-stealer in the 2015 flick The Danish Girl. Not to mention, the 27-year-old was trumped by the Steve Jobs actress at this year's Golden Globes. Oof!
