Teyana Taylor Reveals How She Feels About Kanye West -- Years After She Said She Felt 'Underappreciated' And Retired Under His Label!

Teyana Taylor is getting honest about Kanye West!

In an interview with Vanity Fair on Tuesday, the 35-year-old musician opened up about how she feels nearly five years after she quit music under Kanye’s GOOD Music record label. In case you don’t remember, back in 2020 Teyana said she felt “underappreciated” and slammed the label for not pushing her in the industry like they should’ve — and she retired!

But now? It’s no biggie, according to her. She told the outlet:

“I don’t have to agree with everything that he do or say, but I’m not going to, like, abandon him and be like, ‘Yeah, eff that motherf**ker. My brothers do s–t that I don’t agree with…. I don’t get into none of that.”

Not denouncing the Runaway rapper publicly doesn’t mean she’s going to sugar coat it in private, either! She explained:

“If you want a real answer, you ask me. So if he asks me something, he knows he’s gonna get a real answer. I do my s**t behind the scenes and do what I need to do to help.”

All in all, Teyana is worried about herself and her own projects these days:

“I’m in my business and I drink my water.”

And now, she even returned to music with her 2025 album Escape Room! So it’s clear she’s not letting Ye get her down anymore.
