Nooooo! Don't do it, Anthony Hopkins! Don't stab us!!
That's what we'd say if we thought movie posters were real, LOLz!
Luckily, we don't — so that means we can enjoy this brand new poster for Hitchcock without fear. Featuring almost the entire cast (there are no extras, the unsung heroes), we love being able to get a glimpse of those who will take us into the life of THE horror master himself, Alfred Hitchcock!
It seems a little humdrum after the debut of the trailer, but we're so excited for this biopic that we'll take what we can get!
Ha!
Plus, it goes without saying that we're VERY jealous of The 26th AFI Fest — they're showing the world premiere of the flick on Thursday! Ahh!

It's hard to believe that Hitchcock is being released in November and we're JUST now seeing the first trailer (above), but better late then never!
We've been waiting to see if Anthony Hopkins' acting would live up to his incredibly costume design and so far…
SO GOOD!
His performance definitely looks like an Oscar contender to us.
Even though we've never met the guy, his portrayal of Alfred Hitchcock seems like the real deal to us!
Helen Mirren also appears to give an incredibly strong supporting performance, while Scarlett Johansson is the perfect embodiment of Janet Leigh.
Alas, there's only one shot of Jessica Biel in the trailer though. Blink and you'll miss her appearing as a naked Vera Miles!

Ah! We knew it would come.
The team behind Hitchcock has released more marketing material which showcases all of the film's major characters, not just the titular director played by Anthony Hopkins.
The newest poster (above) features Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, Helen Mirren as Alma Reville, James D'Arcy as Psycho star Anthony Perkins, Danny Huston as Whitfield Cook and Toni Collette playing the iconic director's personal assistant.
While we thought it was going to be a simple biopic about all of the dramz that went down behind the scenes during the making of Psycho, it turns out it's actually a love story. Director Sacha Gervasi revealed the core of the story is Hitchcock's relationship with his wife and explained:

Okay okay, so maybe she won't be taking only Queen Elizabeth II roles from now on — but it feels like it!
Dame Helen Mirren has decided to join a brand new play from Peter Morgan called The Audience, where she will once again step into the role that won her an Oscar!
It'll be directed by the guy who did Billy Elliot — Stephen Daldry — and opens on February 15 2013, and runs to June 15 at London's Gielgud theater.
At it's core, the story is about the weekly meetings between The Queen and some of the 12 Prime Ministers of her reign.
Here's how it's explained in the press release:

As long as the quality of Anthony Hopkins' acting lives up to the that of his makeup in Hitchcock, there is a strong possibility that he may be earning his second Academy Award this winter.
A poster for the highly anticipated flick has been released (above) and is relying on Hopkins incredible resemblance to the real-life director to lure the audiences into the theater when the film is released on November 23.
The biopic focuses on the making of Psycho, so we're a little surprised the marketing doesn't play off the classic horror film — but there's more promotion to come.
Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel also star, so we're definitely looking forward to a trailer. See all those lovely ladies in action!

Helen Mirren was all set to receive the Lifetime Achievement award on Friday at the Karlovy Vary International film festival in the Czech Republic.
The 66 year old looked classy and sophisticated in a purple floor length Dolce & Gabbana lace gown, matching earrings and white beaded handbag.
A huge congratulations to the actress on the award and for looking so Dame good!
