It's almost as if this HBO film ACTUALLY stars Sarah Palin! And given her recent efforts to return to TV….she very well COULD have starred in it! Ha!

Check out the newly released trailer (above) for HBO's Game Change, which revolves around the 2008 election.

We continue to be VERY impressed with Julianne Moore's portrayal of Palin, and Ed Harris' portrayal of John McCain! We will definitely be tuning in for this one!

Claire Danes has been named Woman of the Year by Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Previous winners include Julianne Moore, Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway and Halle Berry.

Known for its fabulous burlesque shows, the Hasty Pudding Theatricals will have a parade led by Claire before she receives her award later that afternoon.

2012 has been very kind to Danes; she scored her third Golden Globe with Showtime's Homeland and she gets to lead a parade full of fabulous divas!!!

Lucky!

Claire will make the trip to Cambridge on January 26th.

Here are the top three moments that people have been re-watching through their DVRs:

HBO wants some Alaskan loving from Sarah Palin.

The premium cabler has ordered up Julia Louis-Dreyfus' show, Veep. The show will have Julia in a comedic role as the VP of the United States who is one heartbeat away from the presidency, a la Miss Palin if things went different in '08.

Game Change, HBO's other endeavor, will take Palin the literal sense as the telefilm documents 2008 election. Julianne Moore will don the mom glasses and high bun as Palin.

Should be a great political Spring for HBO!

It's almost Spirit Day!!

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 20, millions will wear purple to show their support for the LGBT youth community.

Pioneered by teenager Brittany McMillan as a response to bullying provoked suicides, it's not just individuals taking part in the awareness. Schools, organizations, corporations, etc.. are all participating as well.

Celebrities like Ricky Martin, Cyndi Lauper, Conan O'Brien, Julianne Moore, Chaz Bono, and Mia Farrow, have all spoken out on their support. And we're sure we'll see a lot of other tweets about it too pretty soon!

Even MTV is changing their logo in support of raising awareness. Now THAT's how we like our MTV!

Not only that but Facebook, Viacom, Delta, PepsiCo, Goldman Sachs, Yahoo!, and American Airlines are notifying employees and encouraging participation.

The lights at LAX airport are even turning purple!

The yummy vamp from True Blood has been busy filming for his upcoming film, What Maisie Knew, in New York City.

Alexander Skarsgard is SO hot, even when he's not sucking someone's blood.

The film, which is slated for a 2012 release, also stars Julianne Moore and Steve Coogan.

If you're a Coen Brothers fan and you live in the Big Apple, there is a MAJOR event going down at Hammerstein Ballroom on August 16th that you'd be damned if you missed. This year's local Lebowski Fest will feature a screening of the Brothers’ classic, followed by a - wait for it - cast reunion featuring Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi and Julianne Moore.
