The GOP offered Justin Bieber $5 million to perform at an event during the Republican National Convention last week, and he nearly took the deal — until his manager Scooter Braun threatened to quit over it!!
The Biebs, repped by talent agency CAA, would have had to perform for just 45 minutes one night last week at a venue not even at the RNC's main location in Cleveland, and this by far would have been his biggest payday ever.
Apparently, Republican officials and the promoter who pushed the deal told Justin the event was "not political," and the Biebs was going to get the $5 million up front (!) without having to endorse Donald Trump or anything like that, but thankfully, smarter heads prevailed in the Bieber camp
While it would have been the Sorry singer's single biggest payday EVER, manager Braun — who is a big Hillary Clinton supporter — was NOT feeling it.
In case you forgot, the reality TV personality was best known for spending over $100 thousand on plastic surgery in order to look like the Sorry singer. Toby's passion to look like the Biebs was discussed in episodes of Botched and My Strange Addiction. Tragically, Sheldon went missing last August 18 and was found dead only a few days later in a Motel 6 in the San Fernando Valley.
However, according to TMZ, Toby's cause of death has finally been revealed. The autopsy report shows that Sheldon had various types of narcotic painkillers and prescription drugs in his system when he died. Oh no!
The cool collab — penned with the help of Ed Sheeran and pop producer Benny Blanco — features a bangin' dance beat (duh) as well as some acoustic guitar, all while the pop star croons some loving lyrics. Fierce.
Meanwhile, the Danish songstress lends her voice to the harmonies and the bridge on the fun track! Ready for the next big summer hit?! Ch-ch-check it out (above)!
Honestly, did you expect anything less from such a star-studded group??
After all, the Biebs and Ed worked together on the wildly popular Love Yourself, MØ and Major Lazer teamed up for last year's smash single Lean On, and J.B. famously collaborated with Diplo and Skrillex — AKA Jack Ü — on Where Are U Now. Color us impressed!
