Failed singer saMAN Ronson bailed on her twin sister to leave her own party to be with Lindsay Lohan.

On Tuesday night, saMAN and her twin, Charlotte Ronson, were celebrating their 31st birthday at the Bowery Hotel.

But, when the paparazzi showed up all over the place, Sammy and LaLohan fled the scene.

An inside source says, "Charlotte and Sam do this party every year. The photographers must have caught on because they were outside the hotel. Sam and Lindsay were livid and just left to go do their own thing."

How cute.

We still think Lindsay could do soooo much better!

It looks like there's peace (for now) in the Geldof household.

As y'all know, Peaches Geldof suddenly married Chester French musician Max Drummey in a quickie Vegas ceremony two weeks ago (after only 4 weeks of dating).

Naturally, the eloping totally pissed of daddy Geldof, Sir Bob.

However, according to the UK's Daily Mail, Sir Bob has performed an about face and has now given his blessing to Peaches' marriage.

The Geldofs have reportedly spent an uneasy week together on holiday in Majorca, Spain, with Bob repeatedly quizzing Peaches about her marriage. But all is good now!

An insider told the paper:

"Bob is incredibly protective of his daughters and only wants the best for them. What she needs now is support and not be isolated. Thankfully she has that from her sister and father. She doesn’t need people telling her that what she has done is wrong. The wedding is for real and he understands that now that Peaches has had a chance to explain properly."

When the marriage falls apart Sir Bob should hold his tongue and refrain from saying "I told you so".

Kids hate that!

It's getting ass season for Michael Phelps!

The Australian media is asserting that the 8-time gold winner got cozy with Aussie swimmer Stephanie Rice this week in Beijing.

Team Oz swimming insiders say the pair were very close at a party organized by swimming star Ian Thorpe on Monday night AND on Tuesday a shirtless Phelps supposedly got 'friendly' with Rice at a Speedo promotion.

Don't settle!

Work it while you can, Mikey (but be safe!).

There are many lovely ladies (and gentlemen) who want a piece of Phelps' gold!

Jodie Foster could lose $25 million soon.

The reason?????

Cuz - as has been reported - she's a homewrecker and a cheater!

Ever since she left her partner of 14 years, Cydney Bernard, for writer and producer Cynthia Mort, Foster has been trying to play nice.

And Jodie would like to keep things away from the public eye, so she'll do whatever it takes to keep everything quiet.

And that means keeping her ex happy!

According to the National Enquirer, Foster could lose up to a quarter of her fortune, an estimated $25 million in alimony.

Jodie is currently worth around $100 million. But half of that she earned while she was with Cydney!

So legally, Cydney could ask for half of those $50 mill and she might get it if she sues.

And according to an inside source, Jodie is trying her best to keep her happy and not pay her the millions.

She's even trying to have Cydney and Cynthia be friends.

Riiiiiiight.

The source says, "She wants them to be friends. Jodie realizes that if Cydney perceives them to be one big happy family, she'd never sue for half her assets."

So what does Cydney get in return?

She gets to live for free at one of Foster's houses. She also gets invited to parties at Foster's house and gets to visit with her sons.

And even better is the reported six figures a year she's giving Cydney.

That's not too shabby - but it's still not $25 mill!

And the (non)news of the two Olympic swimmers dating continues.

Michael Phelps has already denied any rumors that he's dating Amanda Beard. And now Beard needs to reconfirm that they're not dating and takes the time to explain why she called him "Nasty."

On Tuesday, the swimmer did a interview and joked about dating Phelps.

When asked if she was dating Michael, Amanda responded with a simple, "I am not dating Michael Phelps."

But when asked if they had kissed, she said "Eww! No. Come on."

And when they joked that Phelps might dream about dating her, she said, "Eww, that's so nasty! … Come on, I have really good taste."

So, now, in a new interview, Beard is apologizing for her comments, saying "Everyone who knows me knows I can be a jokester, but I guess I took it too far. I never meant to say anything rude about Michael. I am 100-percent sorry for what I said. I take full responsibility for it."

No worries. Phelps might have an ugly face and hot bod, but Beard suffers from the same condition!

She continues by saying, "When we are sitting in the stands, we are very grateful that Michael swims for the U.S. It's cool to be a part of the team on which Michael won eight gold medals. We know each other and Michael is like my little brother. He jokes around me all the time and it's all good-natured. But obviously people who don't know me can take it the wrong way."

It's okay, gurl. We know you were joking. But we're sure you're enjoying your 15 minutes of fame!

Beard then ends all rumors by admitting that she's been dating a photographer for the past three years.

She says, "He's been here [at the Olympics] – he's always with me. He's totally fine with [the rumors]. This is just the way things go sometimes. But to Michael, I am so sorry for the things I said."

And now that we won't have to hear about Beard any longer, it's back to the important things….

Nothing and no one comes between Nicole Richie and her babydaddy, Joel Madden!

The new mom doesn't seem to approve of him being friendly with other women. Too bad he's a musician surrounded by hot, desperate, slutty chicks all the time!

But, the latest girl Nicole is hating on is Mary-Kate Olsen.

Last week, MK showed up at New York's Roseland Ballroom to watch Good Charlotte perform.

An insider tells Life & Style, "After the concert, Joel invited her back to see the tour bus. He showed her some baby photos of Harlow. Joel isn't one to lie or hide things from Nicole, so the next day he told her about it on the phone."

That seems like the right thing to do by Madden, though it might have been a bad idea.

The source adds, "Nicole freaked out. Joel thought she'd respect the fact that he was trying to be honest — after all, he and Mary-Kate are just friends — but Nicole was hurt and angry. He couldn't deal with it, so he hung up, and she kept texting him after that."

Ouch.

However, could Nicole's reactions be validated?

According to the source, though, Madden and MK have a history of "flirting." Adding, "During the dinner, Mary-Kate was very playful with Joel. It was all fun and games, but with the Olsens nothing is as simple as that. Nicole exploded at Joel and demanded that they leave the party. Afterward, Nicole warned him to stay away from Mary-Kate."

Then again, if Richie truly loves Joel, and more importantly, TRUSTS him, then there shouldn't be any doubt that he would cheat.

Unless he's done it before and that's why she's all freaked out?

The source adds about the unwed couple, "They're having their usual ups and downs. I think they're madly in love and want to get married. But I also think it's moments like this that will continue to keep their wedding on hold."

It's about time!

After a shambolic performance at last weekend's V Festival, Amy Winehouse is reportedly heading to rehab. Again.

This made us raise our eye brow!

According to the UK's The Sun, the rehab wheels were supposedly set in motion by funny man Russell Brand. Not Amy's 'people'.

When the comedian found out that Wino was looking for a flat to be 'closer' to husband Blake Fielder-Civil's countryside jail, he reached out to the head of Focus 12, a rehab facility near Blake's jail, and suggested that Amy get treatment locally at the same time.

The rehab facility bosses agreed and contacted the troubled singer through friends.

Focus 12 is the 'small and friendly' clinic where Brand was able to kick his own addictions.

Wino's dad, Mitch, said, “This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good.”

Hope rehab works this time around!

With all the recent media attention surrounding Olympic swimmer and record breaker Michael Phelps, it was only a matter of time before people started asking about his personal life.

And now the world wants to know if he's dating anyone.

Like perhaps Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard?

When asked by TV's Extra if he was dating Amanda, Phelps responded, "No, I'm not dating Amanda Beard. I'll say that. I think she has a boyfriend."

Is he just being coy?

When directly asked if he's single, Phelps said, "Part of my life is kept to myself. I'm able to relax and be with my friends. Those pretty much are the only people who really know the answer to that question."

Looks like his friends will be getting interviewed pretty soon!

And when told that Carrie Underwood has a crush on him, all Phelps said was "That's the first I've heard of that. That's pretty cool."

As for his favorite female celeb, that would be Cameron Diaz.

When asked who would play his leading leading in a movie about his life, he responded, "Cameron Diaz seems pretty cool. She seems like she has a cool personality. "

With the amount of money he's going to be making soon, we doubt he'll have any problem picking up any girls. Or boys!

Phelps is said to be taking in an estimated $40-100 MILLION in endorsements thanks to his wins and popularity now.

But, he adds, "It's not about the money. I love what I do. The one thing I'm really looking forward to doing is raising the bar in the sport of swimming and promoting it…to get new faces involved in the sport."

The money doesn't hurt, though!

Last week, we posted a "Not So Blind Item" stating, "What D list celebrity, who just got married a couple of months ago, is already on the outs with his wife??? Yes, there's another woman involved. But we always thought he was gay!"

Well, this week, the D-lister's identity has been outed.

It's former Saturday Night Live actor Chris Kattan!

Kattan and his "wife", model Sunshine Tutt, began dating back in 2005.

The pair then wed on June 28th of this year.

And, before their honeymoon phase could end, they've "separated."

A rep for Chris confirms to Life & Style the news saying, "They've got issues they're trying to work out. It's not a divorce right now, but they are taking time apart."

We still get the gay vibe from him.

Luckily he won't be stuck paying her large amounts of alimony. They were barely married! Plus, he's a D-lister. He doesn't have large amounts of money!
