Charli XCX is having NONE of this.
Just a day after Marina and the Diamonds shaded Charli for allegedly stealing artistic imagery from her 2015 album Froot and single Immortal, Marina claims the singer's ad campaign for a perfume fragrance is strikingly similar to her cover and single artwork.

Here's the thing — Ms. XCX argues this mini scandal is nothing more than a misunderstanding. Apparently she and Marina coincidentally used the SAME photographer for their shoots!
Considering Charli's photos were directed and chosen by a BRAND, she reasons any similarities are not her fault. Not to mention the creative scandal represents everything the talented gal is against!
In a lengthy Instagram post, the beauty explicitly states:
"I'm Not Here To Replicate Or 'Steal' Art."
What a strong and declarative statement! You can read the 23-year-old's full message (below)!
Holy crap! Celebrities can't seem to get along this week!
On Thursday, Charli XCX released images from her campaign with Impulse fragrance.

Obviously we are big Marina and The Diamonds fans, but come on! You can't win taking on Cyndi Lauper!

One word: Lollapalooza!
The Chicago music festival has released its full lineup, and besides being utterly massive, it's also about as eclectic a mix as music gets!
