Marion Cotillard Is Failed By Florals At The Dior Dinner In Marrakech

| Filed under: Film FlickersFashion SmashionChristian DiorMarion Cotillard

Marion Cotillard overwhelms at the Dior dinner during the Marrakech International Film Festival.

We thought florals were supposed to be fresh!

Sadly, that was not the case with Marion Cotillard’s frock at the Dior hosted dinner held during the Marrakech International Film Festival on Sunday in Morocco.

Between a floral bodice and black tulip skirt layered over a cream, cutout pencil skirt, the brunette beauty's Dior Haute Couture left us overwhelmed.

Especially when paired with Marion’s houndstooth clutch, which looks totes out of place!

Luckily, the gorge actress stuck with a simple pair of Dior peep-toes to round out her look.

And while Marion didn't get it completely wrong, we can't help but feel a tad disappointed.

Thoughts???

Marion Cotillard Blows It In Dior At Elle's Women In Hollywood Celebration

Marion Cotillard is a deflated balloon at Elle's Women in Hollywood party!

Marion Cotillard obviously wore Dior to Elle's 20th annual Women in Hollywood celebration in Beverly Hills on Monday, but that doesn't automatically mean she looked awesome.

Her colorful print, strapless bubble dress featured a voluminous cape-like addendum at the back, and overall looked like a metallic birthday balloon on its last breath.

It would've looked so much better without the cape, or if it were another dress entirely.

Marion added tricolor Dior pumps to the outfit, and pulled her hair back to give us a good view of her face, which was gorgeous as always.

Thank goodness for that!

Marion Cotillard Narrowly Avoids Getting Splattered In Blue Paint In New Lady Dior Ad

| Filed under: Fashion SmashionPursesAd CampaignsChristian DiorMarion Cotillard

Marion Cotillard has the blues for Dior in new ad campaign!

According to people who research these sorts of things, the color blue is associated with confidence and faithfulness, which may be why the art direction for the new Lady Dior ad is so heavy on the hue.

It's a subliminal tactic to get you to remain faithful to, and have confidence in, the Christian Dior brand!

Of course, we're sure Marion Cotillard's presence helps a little, too.

The actress looks quite strong and self-assured in the Tim Walker-lensed image, posing in a cobalt blue Dior Resort shift with the classic Lady Dior handbag hanging from her wrist.

A splatter of blue paint on the wall next to her reinforces the whole color theme they have going on.

It's not a bad ad, but there sure is a lot of empty space towards the left, which seems kind of pointless.

Anyway, get a closer look in the gallery (below)!

Marion Cotillard Is Misguided In Her Mullet Dress At TIFF

Somebody take scissors to this dress STAT!

It might seem that having your pick of Christian Dior dresses would automatically land you on the best-dressed list, but that is not always the case, as Marion Cotillard demonstrated at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday.

At the premiere of Blood Ties, the French actress garnered eyeballs in a sheer lace Dior number that showed off her legs, and we would've loved it were it not for that distracting mullet hem!

It just looks so out of place and unnecessary! We can't conquer our urge to tear it off!

White cap-toe Dior pumps and a mismatched green bangle only served to make the whole ensem seem even more random.

But it wasn't totally hopeless — Marion looked gorgeous as always in the facial area!

Marion Cotillard Is A Graceful Mademoiselle For Madame Figaro

| Filed under: Fashion SmashionFrancophiliaSpread 'EmMarion Cotillard

Marion Cotillard gets a spread in Madame Figaro magazine!

There's a reason why she's Dior's leading lady!

Marion Cotillard proves she is the ultimate French beauty on the cover of Madame Figaro's pocket edition.

Her spread was shot by fashion photog Jan Welters, during which the 37-year-old was captured wearing minimal makeup and just enough hair product to get her luxurious mane to stand on end. Nothing too fancy!

The simplicity of the shoot was carried through in a somewhat bland color palette of black, white, and grey that really brings out Marion's piercing blue eyes.

It’s hard not to get lost in those twin pools of eyeball magic!!

Marion Cotillard Goes Long & Backless To The Immigrant Premiere

Le yawn!

Marion Cotillard's white streak continued at Cannes on Friday, but unlike her last look, we just can't get excited about it.

Sporting a slicked back and curled under coif, the French actress made another long trek down the red carpet in a backless Christian Dior white gown with a structured bustier bodice and silver pumps.

Not only is this white dress a complete snooze, it didn't even fit Marion. Just look at how she had to scrunch up the long sleeves to show off her Chopard bracelets!

And all that gathered/scrunched up fabric at the waist wasn't doing her any favors either.

Maybe after Cannes Mademoiselle Cotillard should take a hiatus from Dior. She always seems to look much better in other designers anyway.

Marion Cotillard Is Marvelous In McQueen At Cannes

Marion Cotillard kicks Cannes ass in McQueen at The Immigrant photocall

Marion Cotillard had something in her eye at The Immigrant photocall at Cannes on Friday.

But that unfortunate incident did not detract from the utter sumptuousness of her Alexander McQueen frock.

This dress is EXQUISITE!

Obvi, the actress will remain loyal to Dior until her contract expires, but we LOVE seeing her in something new once in a while.

We're totes lusting after the delicate eyelet lace panels and 3D embroidery on her outfit! Have a looksie at the zoomed-in deets in the gallery (below)!

Even sparkling Swarovski-covered Louboutin pumps couldn't upstage this dress.

Total awe!
