Jon Stewart made a fatal mistake last week…he made a joke about One Direction (gasp!).
On a recent episode of The Daily Show, Jon quipped:
"A new terrorist group just formed with one member each from ISIS, al-Nusra, Al Qaeda, Hamas, One Direction and the Zetas drug cartel."
Obviously Jon, a comedian, was simply JOKING…but the rabid One Direction fans were NOT amused.
Watch Jon's response to the vicious social media campaign against him (below)!
Should Steal My Girl be changed to Steal My Sound???
Well, this isn't the first time One Direction has been accused of having a song sound similar to another!
Just a day (or two) after their latest single, Steal My Girl, was
released leaked, the song has been compared to another with claims that the beginning melody is eerily similar to that of New Found Glory's It's Not Your Fault!

Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory went to Twitter to point out the similarities of the two tracks, saying:
This is so inspiring!
When Amanda Jaramillo heard about a four-day long radio scavenger hunt to win One Direction tickets, she knew she wanted to win.
The thing is, she wasn't trying to win the competition for herself, she wanted to give the tickets to someone less fortunate than she.
So, when she did eventually win the tickets, she called up Phoenix Children's Hospital to figure out who she could give her prize to.
Little did Louis Tomlinson know his time would eventually come!
Coming into a music competition as a solo singer only to be thrown into a group with four other people can be hard on a person's ego.
Especially if you aren't being utilized as much as you thought you would be during the first couple of years in the group!
That's what happened to Louis when he was thrown into One Direction. In their new autobiography, Who We Are, the singer explained it was such a difficult process for him in the beginning.
