What an unlikely but sweet story!
According to TMZ, Lopez floated about
Leave it to Wendy Williams to call EVERYBODY to the curb!
On The Wendy Williams Show on Monday morning, the host took out her skeptic's hat and dropped bombs on Rachel AND Beyoncé simultaneously:
Becky Rachel Roy.
Miz Roy was set to speak "Mastering Your Métier" seminar at NeueHouse before attendees received the following email:
Sure the music is absolutely AH-Mazing — what did you expect? — but the reason the 34-year-old has some extra attention on her at the moment is because of a line that is in one of Bey's songs!
On her newest album, the mother of one has a song titled Sorry in which she alleges that Jay Z cheated on her with "Becky with the good hair."
Well it didn't take long for fans to question whether or not "Becky" could actually be fashion designer Rachel Roy who was of course involved in all that drama with Solange. Funny enough though, Roy actually seemed to out herself on Instagram shortly after the album dropped.
Despite that, when the Formation singer's followers tried to educate themselves on all the drama, they apparently were a bit confused and several mixed up Rachel Roy with celebrity chef Rachael Ray. LOLz!
Though this is pretty funny, Ray has received a lot of hate and shade thrown her way in the form of insults and lemon emojis as fans tweeted:
The Beyhive went after Rachel Roy REALLY hard Saturday night and Sunday morning… and now, she's responded!
As we reported this morning, Beyoncé's Lemonade set off assertions about Jay-Z cheating, and when Bey dropped a reference to 'Becky with the good hair,' Roy ended up posting a pic on Instagram that seemed to allude to the drama.
The Beyhive was NOT feeling that, and they went in on Roy — and now, she has responded!!
The 42-year-old tweeted late Sunday morning (below):
We know what you're thinking — who's Rachel Roy?
As a refresher, Rachel was the one who allegedly ignited the infamous Met Gala elevator feud between Solange and Jay Z — after the rapper's relationship with the fashion designer was speculated in the media AND by her ex-husband Damon Dash.
In the track Sorry, the 34-year-old songstress calls the alleged mistress "Becky with the good hair."
And this is where Rachel decides to collect her 15 minutes of fame.
Soon after the 12-song visual album broke the Internet, the 42-year-old posted a photo on Instagram of her laughing with a friend captioned:
It's not over until Damon Dash says it's over.
Technically, the custody battle is, in fact, over, but the legal war wages on!
Damon's ex-wife and fashion designer Rachel Roy recently won full custody over their kids.
On Thursday, only three days after the hearing, the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder is firing back at his ex by suing her for $2.5 million.
That's right. $2.5 MILLION. But it actually has nothing to do with their kids, Ava and Tallulah.
It's sad to see a family get torn apart, but at least the kids went to the parent who cared enough to show up…
Rachel Roy and her ex-husband Damon Dash had been in a heated custody battle after both sides accused the other of being unfit parents.
Damon claimed that the fashion designer once drove drunk with a child in the car, whereas Rachel claimed her ex openly smoked marijuana in front of their daughters.
The couple had been maried from 2005 to 2009, but Rachel was finally awarded custody of Ava, 15, and Tallulah, 6, on Monday.
