A lot of people think Gary Busey is just some weirdo they've seen on The Apprentice, but they haven't heard his whole story. Yeah, he can be quirky, and parts of the video are no exception, but he always means well, and he has an important cause that's very close to his heart…

… or brain, we should say!

Gary was in a motorcycle accident in 1988 that killed him. He wasn't wearing a helmet, and he cracked open his skull. During the emergency brain operation, he literally died.

Of course, he was brought back, and we're glad that he's doing okay — and he's working tirelessly to make sure what happened to him doesn't happen to anyone else, especially those who might not survive!

When looking at these new pics of celebs practicing their diving techniques, we've come to the conclusion that we still cannot wait for the upcoming celeb reality competition show Splash!

The crazy thing about this is that they can actually get hurt! While we're sure everyone is taking as many precautions as possible, things you don't plan for can go wrong during high dives, which are insanely dangerous!

Olympian Aly Raisman seems to be everywhere these days!

Either she's providing support, meeting American heroes, or wearing jewelry - the gold medalist gymnast is blowing up these days.

Basically what we're trying to say is that when she speaks - we listen!

700+ patients at the Buffalo Veterans Administration Center may have been exposed to HIV, hepatitis B or hepatitis C because of accidental reuse of insulin pens. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?

Of course, the hospital is trying to downplay this egregious lapse in judgment by saying

We were glad to hear that besides a broken wrist, Kris Allen would be okay after an awful car accident on New Year's.

What's shocking us, though, is that he's already performing — regardless of the injury!

Junior Seau's death, among others, sparked intense discussion on how to better protect and treat athletes with brain injuries.

His suicide was a shock to everyone, and we've all been wondering what exactly it was that drove him to do it. Depression? Brain injuries? What caused it all?

Well, it turns out that he had a degenerative brain disease, and the results of an NIH study of Seau's brain revealed

When we first saw this video, we had no idea about the injuries and death that resulted from it. While the video isn't graphic in any way, it is very unsettling to know that one of the men in the Zorb — an inflatable sphere — was killed due to injuries sustained in their descent.

We are shocked by how irresponsible this is, and apparently this is an attraction at a resort.

Obviously there weren't enough safety measures in place.
