Katy Perry's jilted ex Travie McCoy had no problem expressing how he felt when he heard her new single Circle The Drain - which was most likely written about him.
Perry and McCoy dated in 2008 when the Billionaire MC checked into rehab for a prescription pill addiction.
In the song, Katy writes:
Wanna be your lover, not your fucking mother
You think you're so rock and roll, but you're really just a joke
Had the world in the palm of your hands, but you fucking choked
When asked about the song, Travie replied:
"I heard she put out a song that's about me, or about some old habits or whatever. [And] I look at it like this: I'm just stoked that she finally has a song with some substance on her record. Good job."
"There is no bad blood or hard feelings [with Katy Perry]. It happens and you move on. You live and you learn - it makes you a better person. It's the moving on that builds character. People that dwell on old relationships tend to stay bitter. I'm not that type of person."
They parted ways over a year ago, but he's clearly still coming to terms with the heartbreak, because he's channeled it all into a solo project called Forgetting Katy Perry!

He says:
"I think it was inspired by that whole situation. At the end of the day, I think anyone who has been thorough some shit can relate to (the music). It could have been about my girlfriends before, but I'm (going to) keep it real with you, it was definitely about Katy Perry. I definitely felt a certain way about the whole situation. Having a year and a half to reflect on it, you start questioning everything…The timelines… she got engaged so quickly after. I was like, 'Really?' I had to sit back and reassess what was really going on. After you have some time to start thinking about it, you start putting things together. It's been a year and a half. I'm over it. I'm sure she knows. The mixtape is not airing out any dirty laundry. If anything, it's me poking fun at myself. If you've seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall, that's my life. I'm that dude."
We have to admit, we're very curious to hear what kind of tunes he produced! Could be JUICY!

Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy, who recently "reunited" with girlfriend Katy Perry, was seen leaving Jet nightclub with two classy young ladies hos at 2:30 a.m. earlier this week.
"The girls weren't hot, either," says a spy.
Last week, Perry was talking about how she was charmed by McCoy's "natural swagger."
He needs to keep his "swagger" in check!!!!!
McCoy's rep said, "I was not familiar with that story. It sounds really out of character."
