Tyler Perrymakes so many movies we don't know how he finds time to squeeze in so much charity!!
But the actor/director/producer has always found a way to give to those in need, and on Wednesday night thePeople's Choice Awardsgave back to him by honoring him with the Favorite Humanitarian Award!
But before he took the stage, some of the people Tyler has helped over the years got a chance to thank him for his good deeds in a tear-jerking video montage! Seriously, we hope you have some tissues nearby!
Humble as ever, he took the stage and gave an absolutely moving speech about how we all need each other now more than ever, and we couldn't agree more!
Watch the beautiful moment (above)!
And we've got even more People's Choice Awards coverage for you to catch up on (below)!
Zac Efron made it onto the shortlist for his role in the critically malignedDirty Grandpa, and Ben Affleckmight be a finalist for his role in Batman v Superman! BTW, BvSwas nominated in EVERY category except Worst Actress! OUCH!
Hillary Clinton even made the tentative list of nominees… well kind of. The "documentary" Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party received several nominations, including one for Becky Turner, who plays her in the propaganda piece movie. One critic described the movie as "piggybacking a baseless personal attack onto a pseudo history lesson"; we're sure the real Hillary would LOVE to see this flick named one of the worst.
Ch-ch-check out the shortlist of nominees (below) as we wait for the FINAL list that will drop January 23 — only a day before the Oscar nominations announcement!
The two-hour live show was narrated by Tyler Perry and starred Jencarlos Canela as Jesus, Trisha Yearwood as Mary, Chris Daughtry as Judas, Prince Royce as Peter, and Seal in his acting debut as Pontius Pilate.
With the show being both musical and faith based, several people took to Twitter to share their reactions to the best of the best moments (below):
We'll admit, we've felt as though the Madea movies have been a bit overplayed now that there have been a staggering eight films in the franchise, but we should have known better than to lose faith in Tyler Perry.
That's because the trailer for his first foray into the horror genre dropped on Friday, and it looks downright HIGHlarious!
News is just coming in that Kim Zolciak-Biermann's son Kash, 4, was bitten by a dog at some point on Saturday night, with "traumatic injuries" so extensive, it required multiple hours of surgery afterwards.
