As we reported on Wednesday night, Donald Trump shocked the nation when he withdrew federal protection for transgender students. Previously, under Barack Obama's administration (miss you), students were allowed to use whichever restroom corresponded to their identified sex.
"We've had this struggle for years. It's always been two steps forward, one step back. Our community has been blessed that we were in the Obama era where they respected civil rights and that our community mattered — that we deserved to live just like everyone else. This is going to be another fight for at least four more years and we are going to really have our wits about us."
We're not sure WHY these people are famous, but we are definitely here for the drama!
Alexis Ren and Jay Alvarrez first shot to social media fame back in 2015 when the Internet dubbed them one of the original examples of "relationship goals," as they shared beautiful travel content from exotic locations to Instagram and YouTube.
But we guess all the vacationing wasn't enough to maintain this relationship, because shit just got really, really real this week as the former love birds took shots at each other online!
Reports surfaced a few months back that there was trouble in various paradises for the models, but Miz Ren publicly confirmed the split this week on Twitter in a savage rant calling out not only Jay's penis size, but how the "fuckboy" allegedly ended things.
Forget Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Iceland has just launched their own version of the hit E! show — with one HIGHlarious catch. Rather than cast a famous Icelandic family as the stars of the new program, they've started filming four adorable kittens.
Yup, the felines — named Guðni, Ronja, Briet, and Stubbur — were all rescued from a local animal rescue shelter and have been placed in an oversized dollhouse where cameras capture all of their movements. Of course, the project has been dubbed Keeping Up With The Kattarshians. AH-Mazing!
By partnering with the Icelandic Cat Protection Society, the viral sensation has helped raise awareness about adoption opportunities in Iceland. Inga Lind Karlsdóttir, the brains behind the whole operation, explained to CNN:
"It took about a year to put together, because we wanted all the animal welfare authorities to approve it. And here we are, a year later, with the first reality TV show starring kittens. All the people who were laughing then aren't laughing now."
In fact, following the initial launch of the project, all four of the kittens named (above) have been adopted! It's said new cats are being prepped to take their places!
Be sure to scroll back to the beginning to catch all of the feline fun (below)!
GloZell Green hasn't had the best luck conceiving — but when her surrogate Shawna Johnson got pregnant with the YouTube star's second child, she was hopeful to give her daughter (born via Johnson in August) O'Zell Gloriana De Green Simon a sibling.
In a new video posted on Monday, the 44-year-old revealed seven-weeks-pregnant Johnson will unfortunately suffer a miscarriage.
The social media star — who has already gone through nine rounds of IVF — said:
"We found out that the baby is not going to make it. Shawna will be having a miscarriage. That's the crazy part about this now — [we're] waiting. [We're] waiting on this to happen."
Well, Biebs' team gave only a couple hours notice he wouldn't be able to attend due to being "ill." The lawyers, who flew to Los Angeles from Nashville for the depo, are claiming Justin faked his sickness after a night of partying!!
Their proof?? YouTube videos of the 22-year-old showing him drinking at a house party and at Bootsy Bellows… earlier on the same day he was supposed to show up to be deposed.
