Aww, that's so sad!
Chase was a bat-retrieving golden retriever for the Trenton Thunder, the New Jersey based Double-A minor league team for the New York Yankees. He just passed away at the ripe, old age of 13.
The cute doggy would run out to the batter's box and pick up bats with his mouth and bring them back to the dugout.
He'd even carry a basket full of chilled water bottles to the umpires!
Sadly, Chase was diagnosed with a form of lymphoma earlier this year.
We previously mentioned that the New York Jets' coach Rex Ryan has a bit of an odd taste in what excites him.
We guess coaching an NFL isn't enough of a thrill for him…
So he went running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain!
He didn't just run once, either, he ran twice!!
A team official said:
Whoa! Look out, little one!
A tiny white doggy was hanging with his owner, right alongside the road the Tour de France was being biked down.
He was clearly very excited because as soon the first place bikers rode by, he ran out into the middle of the street!!
Michael J. Fox's dog must be a big hockey fan!
When the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup on Monday, Michael's dog Gus celebrated by digging into a Blachhawk themed cupcake-looking treat!!
Michael posted a pic (above) and wrote:
Queen Elizabeth is a winner!
Or at least her horse is!
The royal lady's horse named Estimate brought the Queen the top prize in Thursday's Royal Ascot Gold Cup, and the Queen was absolutely thrilled!!!
Here's what a source said:
Prince William and Prince Harry were spotted playing some polo together!
It was just standard royal shenanigans… those royals sure do love their horse sports.
The two gentlemen got their polo on at the International Audi Polo in Beaufort, Gloucestershire just yesterday, and it was quite a sight!
After a month of hunting the Florida Everglades for Burmese pythons, the Python Challenge is coming to close…
And for most…it was a HUGE WASTE OF TIME!!!!
Only 50 pythons were killed for the event, as 1,500 hunters from 30 states and Canada ran wild thru the swamp and came up with nothing to show for it.
Which is pretty weird…considering there are 150,000 Burmese pythons in the Glades!
Thankfully, no one was injured while hunting but as these snakes have proven, Burmese pythons are quite evasive and GREAT at camouflage.
Oh well…better luck next year we guess…although we still wish there was a better way of doing this.
