Wow. What a night.
 
I am still buzzing from the excitement and electricity that was the Golden Globes last night. It was UH-MAZE-BALLS. In case you missed it, I├é┬áhad the honor of├é┬áco-hosting the NBC Red Carpet Arrivals special with Carson├é┬áDaly of The Voice├é┬áand Natalie Morales of the Today Show, and they made it a fabulous experience for the ├óΓé¼┼ônew girl├óΓé¼┬¥ 🙂
Now, I know I know..
I went against the grain when it came to my own predictions last posted when it comes to wearing red. But come now, how do you think trends get started? My dress of choice was an Ines Di Santo with an illusionplunging back.
Ok, so lets get down to the scoop, You got your ice cream cones out?
Mai Best Dressed List
Charlize Theron in Christian Dior. If you have a modest bustline, this is the type of dress you should celebrate being able to wear and she showed us just that.
Sofia Vergera in Vera Wang, or “Wong” as she whines it. Which btw, only Sofia can make a whine sexy. This woman is Jesus in a dress, we were baptized by her beauty.
Saint Angelina Jolie in Versace. Perfection from head to toe.
Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen looked incredible in a crimson gown, the color truly complimented her skin tone but coulda put some effort into her hair!
Lea Michelle. Illusion dresses can be complicated to wear but she pulled it off flawlessly. The netting worked well with her skin, her sculpted makeup was stunning, and the embroidery was fashion art work at it’s best.
Mai WTF List
Well at least we know Jessica Biel is excited about getting married. She borrowed her Great Great Great Grandmas vintage wedding dress!
Natalie Portman and her circa 1984 bridesmaid. At least we can say the post baby bod is banging!
    
Piper Perabo looked like the entire Hollywood Foreign press could have been hiding under her dress.
Sarah Michelle Gellar. This is what happens when you let your two year old pick out your dress. It was partly cloudy with an 80% chance of rain.
Of course I have said the best for last, by announcing MAI BEST DRESSED OF THE GOLDEN GLOBES 2012.
Drum Roll Please…And the winner…By a landslide…
UGGIE from The Artist!
This lil guy literally stole the show when The Artist won best picture comedy or musical and the cast and crew took the stage. Lil Uggie managed to reduce the entire room of been there done that’s to an Awwwwwwwww. So you GO Uggie.
