Manu Bennett plays a villain on TV, but this weekend he was behind bars IRL!
It's been reported that the 45-year-old, who is known for playing Deathstroke on Arrow, was arrested this weekend for an assault charge in San Antonio, Texas!
The actor was in town for the Alamo City Comic-Con, where he made an appearance as a celebrity guest. Aside from his role on the CW show, Bennet is known for playing the evil orc Azog in The Hobbit trilogy and Crixus in Spartacus.
According to reports, Bennett allegedly punched a 29-year-old man in the face at a hotel party in downtown San Antonio.
The New Zealand actor was released from jail on Sunday at around 1 pm.
Police haven't released any other details about the incident, but Bennett can always use the excuse that he's just preparing for another villainous role?
