Kayla Mendoza — who infamously tweeted "2 drunk 2 care" before getting into a car wreck that killed two people — has been sentenced.
The 22-year-old plead guilty in February to two charges of DUI manslaughter for the fatal November 2013 accident.
Just three hours after telling the world how drunk she was (twice the legal limit according to police), Kayla drove her car the wrong way on Florida's Sawgrass Expressway, crashing headlong into the vehicle of 21-year-old friends Kaitlyn Ferrante and Marisa Catronio.
The families of the deceased Ferrante and Catronio asked the judge for the maximum sentence of 30 years. Mendoza read a letter in court begging for mercy, pleading:
