Chicago has found an odd method for getting rid of the pigeons that are plaguing the city.

They're deporting them! To Indiana.

A Chicago alderman had already proposed a $1,000 fine for feeding the birds.

Now his office has confirmed that they are removing the pigeons.

A spokesperson said:

Edward Bachner Could Get Life In Prison For Buying Puffer Fish Poison

Crazzzy!

Edward Bachner of Lake in the Hills, Illinois has pleaded guilty to bizarreass and dangerous crime: amassing large quantities of the neurotoxin found in puffer fish, with intent to use it as a weapon.

Authorities say, the puffer fish poison was intended for use on his wife, for whom he bought a $20 million life insurance policy. What a sweetheart!

Our source says Tetrodotoxin (as the stuff is called) is a very lethal poison even the smallest quantities can cause respiratory paralysis within six to 24 hours. There is no known antidote to the poison.

When agents searched his home, they found 45 more vials of tetrodotoxin, along with 50 knives, AND other weapons, AND a fake CIA badge!!

WFT?? What was he planing?!?!?

Perfect Owl Imprint On Window

Perfect Owl Imprint On Window

This is why cartoon owls always wear glasses!

A woman returned to her Cumbrian home to find this crazy/perfect imprint of an owl on her window.

The hooter had apparently crashed into the window of her home, leaving the bizarre image - complete with eyes, beak and feathers.

Yeah, we wouldn't have believed it either, but experts said the silhouette was left by the bird's "powder down" - a substance protecting growing feathers.

The woman said she could find no sign of the owl, so assumed it had flown off without serious injury.

Three Legged Duck To Join Freak Show

three legged duck

Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Duckling!

LA resident Todd Ray is trying to "rescue" a three-legged duck that is supposedly alive and well in Nan'an, a town in the Fujian Province of China.

Ray runs the Venice Beach Freakshow in Los Angeles and has, perhaps, the largest collection of bizarre animals in the world — including 22 living two-headed animals and a five-legged dog.

The duck was purchased at a market stall by a man who intended to kill it for food. However, the man had second thoughts about his three-limbed quacker.

Duck shop owner was reportedly happy to give the man a full refund for the one-off creature. Like, who would want to eat a mutant?

We admit it, we'd like to see how fast he can paddle.

BUT on youtube NOT for five bucks at the freak show. (sorry Ray)

Documents Reveal Nazis Were Enraged By Hitler-Mocking Dog

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & True

Nazis enraged by Hitler-mocking dog

Adolph Hitler must not have had much self esteem because old documents reveal that, months before the Nazi's Soviet invasion, the Nazis launched a smaller campaign against a dog named Jackie and her owner.

What got the Nazi's panties in a bunch?

A Finnish mutt raised its paw to its head, imitating the Hitler salute to Nazis!

What an AWESOME dog!

The mocking mutt ticked off the Nazis so much that the Foreign Office in Berlin even came up with plans to destroy the pharmaceutical wholesale company of its owner.

Klaus Hillenbrand, an expert who has written several books on the Nazi period and has examined the recently discovered documents, described the episode as "completely bizarre", saying:

"Just months before the Nazis launched their attack on the Soviet Union, they had nothing better to do than to obsess about this dog."

Jackie was owned by Tor Borg, a businessman from the Finnish city of Tampere and his wife Josefine, a German citizen known for her anti-Nazi sentiments, dubbed the dog Hitler because of the strange way it raised its paw high in the air like Germans greeting the Fuehrer with a cry of "Heil Hitler!"

Tor was actually brought in for questioning by the Nazis about his dog's unusual greeting habits and although Tor denied teaching the dog to perform this action, the diplomats wrote to the Foreign Office in Berlin:

"Borg, even though he claims otherwise, is not telling the truth."

The Nazi's were so offended that they had three different ministries – the Foreign Office, the Economy Ministry and even Hitler's Chancellory – involved in the scandal!

Thankfully, there was not enough evidence for the Nazi party to bring Tor Borg, his wife, or his dog to trial and they were not harmed. His pharmaceutical company is still in business today.

Hillenbrad says there's no evidence that Adolf Hitler was ever told of the case, even if the case made it all the way to his chancellory.

It's scary that something so SILLY could endanger a persons life!

Let's hope history will NEVER repeat itself like this.

Elephant Tails & Dried Hedgehog Siezed At Washington DC Airport!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & True

A man was stopped going through customs at Dulles International Airport in Washington DC after elephant tails and a dried hedgehog were found in his suitcase.

WTF!?

The man from Ghana said they were for "spiritual purposes", but never declared them on his customs form. Instead he referred to them as dried herbs and clothing.

Umm, big difference pal.

The items were eventually burned after customs officials believed they could be carrying diseases.

Ick!
