Disney Will Release A New Star Wars Film Every Summer Starting 2015!

The neverending franchise. A glimpse into the future of entertainment monopolies? Sounds like it.
Disney announced today at CinemaCon that, starting in 2015, a new Star Wars film will be released every summer, alternating between main story episodes and stand alone movies.
The pattern will begin with JJ Abrams’ Episode VII installment, set for a 2015 summer release. While no casting announcements have been made, the return of the original trilogy’s main trifecta has been hinted at.
Now, that’s a whole lot of Star Wars! But could it be too much? Wonder what George Lucas thinks!
Blahh. Who are we kidding? We’re dying to see Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill reprise their roles! And you are too!
And can there ever be enough Star Wars? (Ask us again in 2025!)
