Well who woulda guessed it!

Simon Cowell admitting he's cocky….whaaat?!?!

But he does, and he says it's just his nature - which is why he thought X Factor would start out as huge a hit in the States as it was across the pond.

But he believes in the series and the next season, saying it's only gonna take some time for X Factor to blow up into the phenom it is in the UK!

Watch the video above. Seeing Simon admitting his cockiness is fun enough!

Astro Apologizes For Cocky X Factor Actions

Filed under: Tacky & TrueX FactorAstro

Last week, Astro displayed very poor behavior on the stage of X Factor. When he was put in the bottom two, he gave some major 'tude and it didn't sit well.

Stacy Francis ended up being the one to go (bout time), but Astro was still left with a lot of explaining to do.

We even got the EXCLUSIVE word that he blatantly disobeys producers' rules on the show! SMH!

But we're guessing Astro is finally realizing the effect of his actions, because he went to his Facebook to make an apology:

Simone Chokes At X Factor Bootcamp!

Wow, Simone Battle!

One of our favorite contestants to audition for X Factor showed up to perform Your Song by Elton John for the judges at Bootcamp, and, well, check it out for yourselves (above)!

She CHOKES!

We're rooting for you, gurl, but you need to tone down the cockiness and get your head in the game!

Alex Pettyfer Has A Less Than Pretty Reputation!

alex-pettyfer-has-an-ego-on-i-am-number-four-set.jpg

His face isn't so pretty to us when we hear things like this!

2011 is shaping up to be the year the world pants over Alex Pettyfer, but studio execs aren't feeling the same kind of love for the Brit actor. Horror stories from two of Alex's three upcoming films have come to light, reporting defiant and ugly behavior from Alex on and off the set.

Sources from I Am Number Four reveal that there was major tension between Alex and the film's director. Things got so heated between them while shooting last summer that DreamWorks CEO Stacey Snider was forced to intervene! Furthermore, during the film's shoot, Alex learned he was making less money than another actor and demanded his contract be renegotiated. When DreamWorks refused, Alex went into "protest mode," despite already getting paid in the $250,000 range for the flick.

Greedy much, bb? You're just starting out! You have to wait a few years before you can make those kinds of demands.

Insiders on his other flick, Beastly, didn't have very nice things to say about him either. Apparently, Alex failed to show up for a scheduled marketing meeting at the studio, leaving CEO Amy Baer and her team waiting for two hours without any explanation. And least us not forget a few months ago when he dropped his whole team of representation, right before his girlfriend, Dianna Agron, made the exact same move.

Someone may be just a bit too full of themselves. You're hawt, there's not denying that and you could make it far in this town…but you need to sit down with your ego! Being cocky is only good if you can deliver the goods. Let's see how these movies do first before you jump ahead and start going all diva!

Bethenny Frankel Announces Her Next Book!

Smart lady! Strike while the iron is hot!

Bethenny Frankel recently announced that she's planning on writing another book, and while describing it, managed to find a way to stroke her own ego, of course!

She explains:

"It's called A Place Of Yes and it's about getting what you want out of your life. It's about my experiences and how I handled them, like how people told me my first book would fail and it was a NYT bestseller for five months."

Meow!

But warranted, we suppose!

However, we hope that kind of attitude doesn't become a trend, bb!

You don't want to put a sour taste in people's mouth about your book before it's even finished being written!

Thoughts??
