Omg, this is just awful!

We can't even imagine what his family is going through!

A 6-year-old boy, Nephi Selu, was playing in his family's backyard in Union City, CA.

A family dog was outside as well and it's believed that Nephi tried to climb up onto the dog's back.

That's when the pit bull mix attacked and bit the boy on top of his head.

He was treated at the scene and then rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The dog is currently quarantined at an animal shelter.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the family of this poor child.

This is absolutely HORRIFYING!!

A headless, disemboweled chihuahua was found inside of a woman's car in Yolo county, CA.

Ashley Immel discovered the dead dog on her front seat only weeks after finding the head of a terrier in her boat.

Immel believes that this might all be related to several fights with local boys she got in years ago.

We previously mentioned a woman in California was out for a jog when she was suddenly attacked and mauled to death by four pit bulls!!

Now, the owner of those dogs has been charged with MURDER!

Alex Jackson, 29, was charged when DNA from his dogs' faces matched the DNA of the deceased woman, Pamela Devitt, 63.

She died after being bitten 150 to 200 times.

A man was fishing with two friends at Lake Shestakov in Belarus when he spotted a beaver walking along the side of the road.

He took video of the beaver, getting closer and closer for a better shot until…

The beaver charged him and bit him in the leg!!

Those beaver teeth, the same ones that gnaw through trees, bit right through a main artery in his thigh.

His friends tried to stop the bleeding but the artery was completely severed and the man bled to death!

Beaver attacks are very rare but obviously can be fatal!

This is just so sad!

Dozens of people were killed when a powerful tornado struck Moore, Oklahoma.

But not only humans were affected… many animals were injured or killed when the twister struck!

Sadly, it seems over 100 horses were killed when they were unable to get out of the tornado's path.

Karen Jones, a 48-year-old woman from the UK, was left in tears after her missing cat turned up dead on the side of the road.

Or at least she thought he did.

Turns out it was all just a case of mistaken identity!

Karen was looking for her missing cat Norman and when a passer-by told her family that there was a cat matching his description that had been hit by a car, she went to investigate.

A "bone worm" or "zombie worm" is a worm in the genus Osedax that uses bone melting acid to eat the skeletons of water mammals!!

Researchers at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography have been studying how the worms use their bone destroying acid to get at the delicious nutrients inside.
