Selena Gomez is lightening and lengthening them locks up for the summer!

The young beauty attended a Hotel Transylvania press event in Culver City, California on Monday where she was seen sporting some new auburn hair.

We're so used to seeing Selenita with darker locks, her lighter hue took us by surprise.

Wearing an orange top and ripped jeans, she looked super young and fresh at the 118th birthday celebration for Mavis, her character in the movie.

It has certainly been a while, but Katy Perry has said good-bye to her colorful locks in exchange for a look with which we are all familiar!

The singer made an appearance late last night at the Hennessy V.S Presents DETAILS @ Midnight after kicking back and listening to M83 - as part of the 2012 Coachella Music Festival - in black from head to toe!

And that includes her HAIR!

We'll certainly miss the blue, blonde, and pink, but there's no denying how well she ROCKS the dark hair!
