It's no secret that not as many men use condoms as they should, but a new condom may change that in the near future.

A condom under the codename CSD500 or the slightly catchier nickname, the "Viagra condom", is near regulatory approval in the U.K. and may be on the market within the year.

While it has no association with Viagra, it does have some similar effects. The condom is lined inside with a vasodilating gel, which increases blood flow to the penis and helps maintain erections.

It's not meant to be used by men with erectile dysfunction, but rather men who have trouble keeping "it" up with a condom on during sexy time.

This could potentially be a HUGE seller and encourage more men to wear condoms because they'll no longer have the excuse, "but I can't feel anything when I wear one!"

The new product is still months away from hitting the European market and even further from the U.S. market because the FDA would need more clinical trial data to approve its use.
