AMAZING!

Tom Ford has teamed up with Brett Ratner and GLSEN to judge a contest of anti-bullying PSA's.

He's asking all aspiring filmmakers to submit their own Think Before You Speak video for a chance to win a trip to El Lay!

The winner will attend the annual GLSEN Respect Awards where their PSA will be screened and honored in front of top notch filmmakers. Brett will also give the winning PSA exposure through his social media outlets.

Tom says of the project:

“I am delighted to be working with GLSEN on this important and timely campaign to emphasize how powerful words can be and how crucial it is to think before you speak. I am excited to see the submissions from aspiring filmmakers around the world and look forward to picking the most compelling ones. The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network aka GLSEN is teaming up with Elle magazine to bring their anti-bullying message to New York Fashion Week.

The GLSEN Lounge will be open on Feb 12-13 and is designed to raise awareness for GLSEN's upcoming National Day of Silence taking place on April 20, 2012. Students across the country will take a vow of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools.

Fashion designers participating in Fashion Week have come together to sketch their interpretation of GLSEN's Day of Silence and will be on display for public viewing at the GLSEN Fashion lounge.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to sketch a message or design in support of the national student event.

What an amazing event and powerful message!
