otter play keyboard at zoo so cute

Move over keyboard cat! What's better than a bunch of otters happily playing a keyboard?

NOTHING!

Any other answer is 1000% false.

The Smithsonian National Zoo has some very adorable residents: a family of Asian small-clawed otters. These little guys are already so insanely cute as it is, we can barely handle them. So why did someone have to give them a keyboard??

Gibbon Walks Tightrope Like It's Nothing!

Wow! That's just incredible!

Humans may share some similarities with monkeys but when it comes to making balancing look easy, this gibbon has got some serious skillz!!

This talented gibbon named Siam came to South Africa's Monkeyland last year and has quickly become a main attraction.

The 8-year-old gibbon's favorite trick is running across a rope that hangs 60-feet off the ground!

Gibbons are excellent climbers, swinging from tree to tree at incredible speeds, even making leaps of over 30-feet!

So clearly, these guys have got to have pretty serious balance!

Check out the video (above) to see Siam running across a tightrope like it ain't no thang!

Chameleons MUST Wash Hands

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueSilly!PetsFunnyAmazingCrazzzzylizards

Turns out it isn't only humans whom are OCD about washing their hands.

Chameleons are, too!

When we first began to watch this video we were skeptical about a chameleon willingly washing its hands.

But after viewing this amazing sequence of events - we have a whole new level of respect for the Chameleon species.

If only humans would wash their hands as diligently as this chameleon, and we could stop the spread of germs.

We'd never be sick ever again - it'd be a modern miracle. And all thanks to one chameleon.

And yes this little dude is cooler than the Geico Gekko or whatever the hell that thing is. And it isn't even close!!!

Ch-ch-check out this amazing video of a chameleon washing its hands (above) !!!

Chimps Tend To Be Right Handed

chimpanzees are similar to humans

Chimpanzees are very similar to humans, and a recent study has found another way they are like us.

Most chimps, like most humans, are right handed.

Researchers studied 114 chimps in Zambia. They placed food in tubes and then closely watched the chimps to see which hand they used.

It turned out that the right hand was the dominant hand in most cases.

Also, more of the female chimps used their right hand than the males, which is another similarity, since more women are right handed than men.

It was said that the use of a dominant hand "had traditionally been considered exclusively human and had been believed to be caused by asymmetries observed in the human brain that are related to the realization of complicated activities that require the use and coordination of both hands."

This is pretty interesting!

It just shows how genetically similar we are to primates!
