If anyone ever needed proof that Oklahoma native Blake Shelton is a genuinely good guy, well, here it is.
Sooner State resident Roho Hartman was driving near Ardmore when he came across the wake of Tropical Storm Bill. The weather had completely submerged the street in water, but he still decided to forge on, saying:
"There was a car on the other side..he went through it. I thought huh…I believe I'd make it too."
Unfortunately for him and his passenger, his truck couldn't rough it and they had to get out and push in the waist-deep water.
Right when it when it seemed totally hopeless, a tall, country angel arrived to save the day.
Bearing a tow rope and a Dodge, the singer pulled Roho's truck out of the road-turned-river. But the kindness didn't quit there! Blake also gave Roho a ride home!
He says he's really grateful at how helpful the musician was!
"It was great, he's a good fella I think, I like him."
He IS a good fella! Nice work, Blake!
