The leading cause of death among the homeless used to be AIDS.
Now a new study has found it's actually drug overdoses, usually from painkillers and heroin.
The study looked at homeless adults who were treated through the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program over a 5-year period.
The death rate from O.D.ing has tripled in the past 15 years!
The lead author of the study said:

Have an extra $125-$1000 you want to do something awesome with?
Well you should probably get tickets for the benefit marking the 25th anniversary milestone of the Children's Health Fund:
Over the past 25 years, Children’s Health Fund has expanded nationwide to become the primary source of medical care for thousands of homeless and low-income families and now has 25 programs operating in 17 states and Washington, DC.
Pretty much ALL the celebs will be there (including Tina Fey and Tom Hanks), and Sting will be joining Paul Simon!
The tickets available to the public are SUPER limited, which makes sense, because this is a crazy once-in-a-lifetime thing!
AND it's for a great cause!

Looks like Tom Hardy will actually fight UK heavyweight boxer David Haye.
As we previously mentioned, the UK boxer said:
"Tom has got in fantastic shape. He looks like an absolute tank. But I think I could take him on - I'll take him on for sure. Me and Tom Hardy, that would be a good fight for sure. He can be my next opponent."
We thought it was just talk but now it seems like the fight will actually happen!
Tom Hardy responded:

Common, ahmayzing rapper, was in Chicago recently.
He was there welcoming Virgin Mobile's first flagship retail store into the neighborhood.
He participated in the From the Ground Up benefit which helps to battle youth homelessness.
What a great cause!
The Night Ministry, a Chicago-based organization that helps fight homelessness, benefitted from a concert that Common and Virgin Mobile put on later that night.
So great that Common put on a show where all the ticket sales went to charity. The youth of Chicago must've really appreciated it.
Helping his home city must feel so good.
Way to go, Common!
