We're SO glad this is all over with!
Yesterday, a "person of interest" who was believed to be responsible for 53 arson fires in L.A. and $2 million worth of damage was detained.
Now, we've learned that the "person of interest" is in fact the person of guilt, and he's been identified as a 24-year-old man from Germany named Harry Burkhart.
He was booked in jail yesterday afternoon, and we're hearing that he's being held without bail.
We've ALSO learned that Burkhart has
Australia has got their eye on Kim K.
And not in a good way.
The Land Down Under has put Kim Kardashian on a watch list due her recent trips to Australia.
Most recently, Kim said her last trip was for pleasure but in actuality, it was business.
Very high profile and heavily promoted business in fact.
The country has
You know a presidential candidate is in trouble when Mike Tyson, of all people, is making fun of them!
In his latest acting effort, the former heavyweight champion of the world is playing someone who may be crazier than he is — Herman Cain.
If elected, Tyson's Cain is taking a tough stance on issues like immigration, saying:
"Taco Tuesday will be changed to Pizza Pthursday."
LOLz! If Herman Cain's numerous allegations of sexual harassment aren't enough to sway voters away, this video might just do the trick. Check out the HIGHlarious Funny or Die sketch above!
The largest Latino civil rights advocacy group in the US has officially called off their Arizona boycott!
Imposed in May 2010, The National Council of La Raza began their boycott on the state after Governor Jan Brewer enacted the extremely controversial immigration law Senate Bill 1070.
The law required law enforcement to question those looking suspicious of being an illegal alien within the state of Arizona. This caused jaws to drop because it basically meant police had the right to profile.
We'll be honest: As active as GaGa is in causes, we are not shocked to hear that she does not stand for many of the immigration laws in the country, calling them "unjust."
Rather, we're glad that she's continuing to us her public venue to reach out and stand up for one of the most heated topics in this nation!
Here's what she said:
"I don't stand by many of those unjust immigration laws in my country."
A simple, yet bold statement. She has also expressed disgust with the immigration laws in Arizona, which ridiculously gives Arizona police the ability to stop anyone who is suspected of being an illegal immigrant. Anyone. Just on suspicion.
One of her new songs, Americano, was written partially in response to all these "unjust laws."
We say good for you, GaGa! We're glad you're not wasting your position to have your voice heard!
