Voters are lining up outside polling stations all over the United States of America today, but last night, Barack Obama's supporters in Des Moines, Iowa stood outside in the cold to cheer him on during one final campaign rally.

Before the President and his wife, Michelle Obama, spoke in front of the audience, Bruce Springsteen played a few songs for the audience.

As a longtime supporter of the Prez, the Boss has practically become BFF's with him over the years.

Now that Hurricane Sandy has created some kind of bond between Obama and New Jersey governor Chris Christie, the musician may finally get friendly with the Republican governor of his home state too.

The two have never had the pleasure of meeting until Obama passed the phone over to Springsteen while flying aboard Air Force One. On the other end of the line was Christie, who couldn't have been happier to talk to one his idols and explained:

Holy highway! This is absolutely TERRIFYING!

A 47-year-old Iowa mom was stuck driving over 100 mph for 35 minutes when her Kia Sorento lost all control and wouldn't stop accelerating.

Although there was no bomb threat in this real-life Speed scenario, we can only imagine how scary it is to be in a situation like this.

The video (above) shows just that by combining footage from the state police tailing the vehicle and the 911 call Lori Ubelstad made once she realized there was no stopping.

It's a miracle that nobody was hurt because she had to dodge lots of unsuspecting traffic before she received any assistance from the police, but we're oh so glad that everything turned out okay.

While there were no explosions or crashes involved, this is one high-speed car chase that is definitely worth watching!

A Cedar Rapids denizen just got MEGA RICH!

The ticket was sold at a Hy-Vee and it is the state's seventh Powerball jackpot winner as well as the biggest lottery winner eva for Iowa!!

The person has not yet claimed the winning ticket, but the convenience store gets a 10,000 bonus for selling the winner.

But Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich urges the winner to be cautious — the winner's info is public information so their identity will be known by everyone!

He also states that winners should consult legal or financial experts before claiming such a prize.
