It seemed Venus Williams had gone from at fault to in the clear after video of her fatal car accident had shown she had not illegally entered the intersection.

But the estate of the late Jerome Barson is not giving up its wrongful death lawsuit just yet.

According to TMZ, lawyers have now filed a request for all of the tennis star's phone records to double check she wasn't on her cell just before or during the accident.

They have also asked for copies of any prescriptions for drugs Venus may have taken in the 72 hours before.

Police have already said Venus wasn't distracted by her phone and that drugs and alcohol played no part in the accident. Are the attorneys just grasping at straws?

Liar Liar IRL? Jim Carrey Accused Of Lying About Paying Late Girlfriend's Funeral Costs — Get The Latest On The Wrongful Death Case

If these new accusations are allowed to be used in court, Jim Carrey is going to look terrible in front of the jury. And if they're true, he'll deserve it.

As the wrongful death lawsuits over the suicide of Carrey's former girlfriend Cathronia White continue, they're only getting uglier.

Back in December, Carrey's legal team tried to block claims that he publicly offered to pay White's funeral costs — but then totally reneged!

Well, now White's mother, Brigid Sweetman, and ex-husband, Mark Burton, have filed an amended complaint they hope will be seen by a jury. According to DailyMail.com, the new docs say the Liar Liar star just wanted to appear as the "grieving good guy" but privately withdrew his offer and "never paid a dime of funeral expenses."

These charges, in addition to accusations that Carrey gave White herpes, chlamydia, and hepatitis A, have been called "irrelevant" to the wrongful death case by his high-priced lawyer, Marty Singer.

It's unclear in what way the complaint was amended to allow it in; we'll have to wait and see if the judge agrees with Singer and strikes the latest claims.

Venus Williams may not be as culpable as was initially reported.

Previously, Williams had been found at fault for the car accident on June 9 that claimed the life of 78-year-old Jerome Barson.

Video: Venus Breaks Down In Press Conference After Being Asked About Crash

But on Friday the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department issued a press release, along with security camera footage of the accident, revealing:

"After the initial investigation was conducted, new evidence into the incident was located. Based on the evidence obtained in the ongoing investigation, it has been determined the vehicle driven by Venus Williams lawfully entered the intersection on a circular green traffic signal."

Police also confirmed through that the tennis star was, as she had said, going just 5 mph when the two cars collided. In fact, they say they confirmed BOTH drivers' stories. How??

The rapper has apparently been unhappy with Tidal for "a long time," even going so far as to claim that the company owes him more than $3 million.

And this appears to have been a long time in coming: a month ago, Yeezy's lawyers sent a letter to Tidal claiming the company was in breach of its contact with him.

After weeks of trying and failing to resolve the conflict… it's apparently over.

But wait a minute… is this really about JAY-Z, and his new album — which completely trashes Kanye — more than it is about Tidal??

Well, according to
