Oregon Zoo's Baby Elephant Just Turned One! Look Back At Her First Year HERE!

Ah! Omg! This is the cutest thing ever!!!

Lily is an adorbz lil baby elephant who just celebrated her first birthday back on November 30th.

The little cutie is living at the Oregon Zoo with her mama and papa and she's so super cute!

Some amazing person took all the footage from Lily's young life and put it together to make a video about her first year of life!!

Watch as she goes from tiny (not too tiny) newborn to growing toddler elephant.

We wish we could've been there to see her when she was just a lil baybay but at least we can relive it in this super cut!

Check out the video (above) to see Lily's first year of life at the zoo.

Lily The Rescue Dog Starts Her Training Engine!

puppyLily, the avalanche rescue dog is in training at Park City Mountain Resort. And she's only nine weeks old!

Once she's trained, Lily will spend about 10 years working on the mountains.

What is the process behind training a rescue dog? Do they ease her into it, or does she just start rescuing people from the get go?

Here's what the dog trainer said:

Therapy Puppy Gets A Prosthetic Paw!

How schweet! How CUTEz! How inspirational!!!!

Lily is not your average ball of cutie fluff wrapped in fur…she's a therapy puppy and she brings smiles to many MANY patients.

But this pooch is also missing a paw, so she can relate to living with a disability.

So, to help her get around and pass her cuteness to everyone, Lily is receiving a prosthetic paw!

A complication at birth caused Lily to lose her foot, so occupational therapist Heather Mullin wants to use Lily to help her patients and the dog will hopefully inspire others with amputations!

So ADORBz!!! Who wouldn't be inspired by Lily!?!?!?

Hope The Famous Internet Bear Killed

Hope

Hope, a young bear, who's birth was witnessed live on the internet, has been killed by a hunter!

Apparently, in her home of Minnesota, it's legal to bear bait. Bear baiting is basically setting out bait and then shooting the bear when it arrives.

Sporting.

Hope had over 133,000 likes on her facebook page.

People are outraged at the killing of this research bear, but it's not illegal to kill research bears. That must be frustrating for scientists, with hunters just running around killing their subjects.

Something seems wrong.

The hunter claims he didn't mean to shoot Hope, but didn't express remorse either.

Wow. Just wow.

Our hearts go out to all the fans of Hope and to Hope's black bear family.

R.I.P.
