Lily, the avalanche rescue dog is in training at Park City Mountain Resort. And she's only nine weeks old!
Once she's trained, Lily will spend about 10 years working on the mountains.
What is the process behind training a rescue dog? Do they ease her into it, or does she just start rescuing people from the get go?
Here's what the dog trainer said:

How schweet! How CUTEz! How inspirational!!!!
Lily is not your average ball of cutie fluff wrapped in fur…she's a therapy puppy and she brings smiles to many MANY patients.
But this pooch is also missing a paw, so she can relate to living with a disability.
So, to help her get around and pass her cuteness to everyone, Lily is receiving a prosthetic paw!
A complication at birth caused Lily to lose her foot, so occupational therapist Heather Mullin wants to use Lily to help her patients and the dog will hopefully inspire others with amputations!
So ADORBz!!! Who wouldn't be inspired by Lily!?!?!?

We wish we were given treats to play with…but playing with your food is frowned upon if you are human :(
Lily is a Corgi who just can't wait until she gets a treat…because it's not about eating it with her….
SHE ENJOYS THE EXPERIENCE (above)!!!

Now these are some big ol' cuties!
A trio of capybara babes, the world's largest rodent, are all smiles and playful at the UK's Chester Zoo.
The little ones, Sakai, Byron and Kosh, were born on Oct 5 to mum Lily and dad Mordon.
Native to South America, the littles can grow up to five feet long and weigh over 130 pounds!
Imagine if bunnies were that big! LOLz! Congrats to the zoo on their capybara babies!

Hope, a young bear, who's birth was witnessed live on the internet, has been killed by a hunter!
Apparently, in her home of Minnesota, it's legal to bear bait. Bear baiting is basically setting out bait and then shooting the bear when it arrives.
Sporting.
Hope had over 133,000 likes on her facebook page.
People are outraged at the killing of this research bear, but it's not illegal to kill research bears. That must be frustrating for scientists, with hunters just running around killing their subjects.
Something seems wrong.
The hunter claims he didn't mean to shoot Hope, but didn't express remorse either.
Wow. Just wow.
Our hearts go out to all the fans of Hope and to Hope's black bear family.
R.I.P.
