First reported in April, the hunt for the dolphin mutilators in the Gulf of Mexico continues with no answers.

We gotta help Ian out!!!!
Ian Somerhalder is a HUGE animal lover to say the least. That's why he started the Ian Somerholder Foundation Animal Sanctuary, a place where animals can well and bullies can learn compassion in his home state of Louisiana.
But unfortunately, his dream may be on the brink of collapse!

Talk about a life sentence!
Chief, a wolf-dog hybrid, was on death row after neighbors complained about his aggressive behavior.
Now, he'll be guarding death row!
A Louisiana judge signed an order for the pooch to join Louisiana's maximum security prison team.
The prison sits on an 18,000 acre farm, so Chief will have lots of room to roam and police.
And he has the perfect name for the job!
With Chief on duty, we wouldn't want to get on his bad side now!

Robert Pattinson was giving an interview where he was talking about how he can't compete with Taylor Lautner's abs.
He then went on to the cuter subject of his and Kristen Stewart's dog, Bear!
He said that they had a lot of down time during the shooting of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2.
He said:
"We got a dog when we were filming 'Breaking Dawn' as there was a lot of waiting around. We were in Louisiana, so we spent time training him there."
That's so sweet!
Can't U just picture the two of them training their cute doggy together on set? Holding hands, making Bear roll over.
We wanna be in Twilight!

ZOMG!!
It's a REAL LIFE CHUPACABRA!! LOLZ!
Some Minnesota residents are sure they've found themselves a genuine mythical creature.
We don't believe it because we don't believe in Chupacabras watch True Blood we know that stuff only happens in Louisiana.
This creepy piece of roadkill kinda looks like a dog to us. But on a closer inspection we saw his badger-like claws and random tuffs of dark hair scattered around his white body and have to agree the animal is a little mysterious!
Chupacabras, or "goat suckers," are described as something between a dog and a wolf, reportedly kill and suck the blood out of livestock.
We thin this might just be a carzy nastyass honey badger / dog half breed!
See a take a closer look at the roadkill below.

Grrrrreat!
Tony, the 10-year-old Siberian Bengal tiger who's been kept in a small cage at the Tiger Truck Stop in Louisiana, for four years has finally been granted freedom!
On Friday, a District Judge granted the Animal Legal Defense Fund's (ALDF) request for a permanent injunction against the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF), preventing them from renewing the annual permit that allows the gas station owner to keep Tony after December 14.
Unbeknownst to Tony, he's garnered the attention of people around the world who have been fighting to have him freed from the concrete cell he's spent his entire life in.

Ugh! Just days after the amazing footage of our national bird hatching out of it's shell was caught on camera, another has fallen victim to a disgusting crime.
Authorities have found a bald eagle shot and beheaded in northeast Louisiana and are offering a $2,000 reward for information about the crime.
The wildlife officials believe the bird was shot several days before it was discovered in a ditch on Sunday.
What a stupid and senseless crime. If convicted for killing or beheading an endangered bald eagle, the perpitrator can be fined up to $250,000 along with two years in prison.
We hope someone comes forward with information and justice gets served.
