One Direction dropped their newest single on Friday, and we LOVE it. But we can't help having déjà vu while we're listening to the catchy tune!
Rumors have been swirling that not only is the boy band's latest hit, Perfect, about Harry Styles and Taylor Swift's relationship, but also that it was created in response to the blonde beauty's song Style!

Let's break it down with some lyrical comparisons, shall we? For example, take a look at the first line from the 1989 track:
"Midnight, you come and pick me up/No headlights"
And now, here's a snippet from the chorus of 1D's recent release:
"And if you like midnight driving with the windows down"
Not to mention, this bit from the boys' bridge seems pretty telling:
"And if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about/Baby, I'm perfect"
But, as one genius, fan-made mashup points out, the songs' similarities go way beyond the words. One brilliant soul edited the two tunes together and it sounds AH-Mazing.
It also sounds identical, right down to the rhythm. Take a listen (below)!
